Seemed pretty obvious to me that a gate comes down between those two doors.

Vertical videos are wrong.

That won't change the fact that the "exit" doors open into a well-lit closet.

If the gate is down and you need to exit, then going through one door and out the other is your only alternative as there would be a gate in your way other wise..  You're exiting the otherwise blocked off section of building..

So... Why have the gate at all? A gate plus bypass negates the purpose of the gate and will probably kill people in an emergency.

Because one of the doors most likely only opens from one side. Which allows people to move towards an exit, but not enter the building when closed.

Seriously people, fire doors are used all over the world. Are you morans just looking for something to yell "fail" at?

Induces about the same degree of motion sickness for me as well.

Explain to the class why there is a large 'exit' sign above both the doors then please?  Unless they are meant to again bypass the theoretical gate from either direction, which kind of negates the whole point of the gate.

Oh gee, you got me there. I mean it couldn't be something simple like a requirement of the building code. Or maybe it's an exit they use to funnel people out and make sure nobody is coming back in by using a gate to secure a much larger entry.

The point is that there is a gate that closes between the two doors, and the doors are used to go around the gate. The slightly racist headline is way off, which isn't anything new really, and the people who are in the thread yelling fail are just as far off. The actual use of the gate and doors doesn't matter at all.
