One more reason only cops should carry guns (or something).

WTF is the #1 rule with guns?

Oh yeah. Treat every gun as if it were loaded.

FTA: Police say the gun used in the shooting was not his service weapon.

So its the gun he would place in the hand of the kid he murdered for the F*ck of it?

Or maybe its the gun that the kid, hog-tied in the back of the patrol car, uses to shoot himself dead.

I don't know about being arrested on the spot, but yes, I am so happy to see this same logic being used outside of the internet. He can ask for a trial by jury.

Because if there was ever a good time to argue for the populace to be more armed, it's when a professional trained in the use of a weapon who has been on the job for decades accidentally discharges said weapon into himself. I'm convinced. Guns for everyone.

The only difference is that when an Officer does this, it's "accidental" and he goes on worker's comp.

When a little person does it, it's "negligent" and he goes to prison.

This is really a strange article.  Protesting a pig who shot himself with a backup gun.  Many of the protestors are gun owners angry about the fact that they would have been punished more severely for the same act.  I feel like this is a game-changer, people.  I'm calling for bloody revolution up in this motherfarker, y'all.

Quite often the avid gun crowd and anti-police corruption movement are not in agreement much. If feminists and cultural conservatives can unite against porn, then civil rights and pro-gun activists can get together to put LEO corruption in check.

\Even if it is about a cop that shoots himself in the leg and not about the kid that shoots himself in the head handcuffed in the back of the squad car for the umpteth time.

The cop shouldn't be charged for hurting himself, but neither should anyone else.

So, you're in on the bloody revolution, then?  When are you free?  My daughter's coming out in a week with a new boyfriend, so sometime around mid-January works best for me.  I'm flexible, though.

The judge recently upheld his prohibition of carrying while off duty.

We have a row going on here in NM, wherupon the officer was shot and injured, had run out of Sick time, and is not contributing to her 401. staff have donated hours to her benefit, and many are calling for a  chanage to the law, but by them time it gets passed, who knows what it will be in the final form.
