Seriously.  For a time my neighbor drove a big obnoxious billboard truck because I guess YAY free truck?  This was at least 10 years ago, and it wasn't a new concept then.

$100 a month would cover my gasoline bills. So I guess I'm not just a whore, I'm a cheap one.

The purpose of this is for you to contribute information that can be sold.  If you could get $100 a month to turn your car into a billboard, you'd see a lot more of these.

Will America just not be satisfied until every exposed surface is covered with an exhortation for me to piss away my cash on a Big Mac?

/Business idea: Sell genetically-modified corn to Iowa farmers that grows in different colors so corporations can advertise to airplane passengers.

This is really old news.  The sad part is that 10-15 years ago, you could get $2000-$3000 a year for it.

This! I was going to suggest to my fiance that we do this, but not for only $100 a month!

yes, what is the deal with these?  when I lived in BFE in southern GA, the ghetto would have tons of these cars rolling around.  Usually all the same make and some brand of candy.  Was this a thing I didn't understand or are people actually getting paid by M&M to have that paint job and drive around the hood?

Companies pay you to do that? Most of the time I've seen it, it's been the other way around.

It's an 'ethnic' thing.

I am guessing that what you see is a car subculture called (swear to God) "donk" that involves basically over-the-top paint jobs and decorations, usually with ridiculously large rims and bright colors. I used to see a car driving around decorated like a McDonald's Happy Meal in Vallejo. Turns out it was just "donk", the guy probably never worked for McDonald's a day in his life.

I got a Levi's wallet for christmas 2012, and it's awesome.

We brand some of the busses and snowcats.  I'd guess that branding a vehicle like a Prius would cost about $4k or less.

The Newport car in front of the strip mall with the Rent-a-Center and pawn shop is like a diorama of fail.
