I just finished the first season of "Spiral" on Netflix.  Wow, the ending was so bleak and cynical that you can imagine the producers of The Wire saying, "Now, hold on, the system isn't that bad."

Just watched the episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch where her dad has an apartment in the Eiffel Tower. How magic is that.

SecretAgentWoman: Vous vissez, subby.

I believe the phrase you're looking for is "casse-toi, Subby."  Or perhaps, "va te faire enculer," which is rather more colorful (it literally means "go get sodomized") but gets the same figurative idea across.  "Vous vissez," in addition to inappropriately using the more-respectful vous conjugation, is about the kinds of screws you'd buy at the hardware store, not the kind you'd buy in the alley behind the hardware store.

It must have been written in grade school French because I could understand most of it.    I feel a little proud of myself for that.

Best view of the Eiffel Tower is from the Tour Montparnasse. Only 14 Euros to get in and hardly as crowded as the Eiffel. And you can see all of Paris with an unobstruted view, because the Montparnasse and the Eiffel are the only two tall structures in Paris.

Eifel died in 1921, and design work didn't start until after 1923, so that seems unlikely.

Though there's a change the arch was designed or executed by Eifel Construction, Gustav's company, which is still very much in business today.

It's the best view in Paris because you can't see the Tour Montparnasse.
