hubiestubert: UrukHaiGuyz: Trocadero: The thing that always gets me about this story (and all the others like it) is just how many gullible rubes you need to make it work. If you get a cold call trying to sell penny stocks, who the fark bites on that? Seriously, you're too stupid not to stick the phone up your butt. It's one thing if you get swindled by Bear Sterns or Lehman Brothers, but some random douche selling obvious crap? It's barely better than Nigerian Princes. He should have never gotten any money in the first place.

The world is full of lonely and ignorant people. You remember what P.T Barnum said happens every minute, right?

/a rube sticks their phone up their butt

There is no greater crime to some folks than letting a sucker keep his money. We only have to look at the last two election cycles to see that...

But enough about Karl Rove's fundraising.

/Looks at article.

Yet they wonder why the average American who (on average) makes a quarter to an eighth of a banker pro's take-home pay a year in comparison want to burn them at the stake like a witch...

Crass and Jaded Mother Farker: I'd imagine, if they made a movie showing Farkers getting crazy rich & having sex with beautiful women to a bunch of Farkers, they'd hoot & holler too...

/Nothing to see here.

Not much money to be made in your mother's basement, though

I saw Phantom Meanace on opeing day at a theater in Oakland. When Jar-Jar came on screan, I looked around and became painfully aware I was the only white boy in the room.

I turned to my friends and said, "I'm going to get lpynched, aren't I?"

"Yup...."

FlashHarry: i saw it on christmas. it's a highly entertaining film. and if you have a brain in your head, it's pretty easy to get that the main character is an irredeemable villain. only a moron would see it as a glorification of crime and excess.

You don't know many people who work in investment do you?
