Whichever gas gives me a chest cold and drops my voice an octave or three, I'd reckon. Mmm, baby.

You'd think smart people could make a clickable quiz

It's had to make good puns about gases, as most of the good ones argon.

I tried to click on the answers then realised that I'd have to go down to the bottom of the page to find the answers then scroll back up to see if I was right.

I thought most of those questions were arcane trivia that is easily looked up but not actually very useful.  When will it matter to me what the escape velocity of the Milky Way is?

They are but they do have low vapor pressure. I can also attest that putrescine accurately describes what it smells like. I warned people that I was about to open the "bottle of death" every time I had to work with it in the lab. The fume hoods, they do nothing!

There are certainly some (A) fluorocarbon gases heavy enough to have the same effect.

Also, to be fair, taking one good lungful of (B) fluorine would definitely set you on the path to sounding the way Barry White does today.

But at least I know how fast to go to get out of the Milky Way and flee from shame.
