If there's a joke in that headline, I missed it.

If I were to guess, it would be the fans part. Plural.

Yea Subby. It's not like Fleetwood Mac is one of the most succesful bands of all time. I'm sure no one wants to see them.

Nobody under 35 knows or cares who FM is, and these are the only people going to the festival... Is that the joke? Can't tell. Headline maybe too clever for me.

/they go for beiber and cyrus I guess. Crazy kids!

I'm currently listening to the ORIGINAL Fleetwood Mac, Blues Jam in Chicago,
so I'm not getting a kick out of this crappy version of FM

I'm surprised how many FM fans have never heard of Peter Green.

Mr. Tweedy: I'm surprised how many FM fans have never heard of Peter Green.

He was in the band for less than three years of the band's 46-year history. It's almost like being surprised that Genesis fans have never heard of Chris Stewart, or Rush fans never hearing of John Rutsey, both founding members of their respective bands.

Like every other TEM submission in the now-dead Music tab? Brilliant.

In Britain, Peter Green is considered a guitar god in the mold of Eric Clapton.  Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac was at one point outselling both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.  This is the Fleetwood Mac they remember over in those parts, not the poppy girl band from America that Fleetwood Mac later became.  Over there, Fleetwood Mac is Peter Green.

And I (and many others) say Lindsey Buckingham can play circles around Peter Green.

Apples and rutabagas, totally different styles. Lindsey is one of my all time favourite guitarists, though. Anyone who disparages him simply because he is not Peter Green has their head buried in the sand.

Well, poor Glastonbury attendants. Now all they'll have are rice grains with their names on them, instead of lovely burritos.

you sir are a total f**khead. Peter Green was (unfortunately, not still is) the greatest white blues guitarist ever, even BB King said so

Last thing I saw at Glastonbury was Radiohead. The only fatality that I know of was me. That shiat was killing me.

He may not get the reception that you want him to.
