Ah, birthers. Are there any left at this late stage? What do they hope to achieve?

It's a hit like the sovereign citizen/free man the land thing. So, if the government was subverted, if the whole system was taken over by a mass conspiracy of rich, powerful liars.... why and how does knowing the 'truth' help? Who's gonna care? The lizards are already in charge!

Just wanted to bring this little gem to everyone's attention:

This surprises you. A standard tactic from their playbook to silence anyone who dares speak out about Blacks, Jews or queers! They use LABELS to discredit you, Racist, Homophobe, Birther, Conspiracy Nut, redneck, etc. Just one problem "The Truth is always the Truth" god bless the Phil Robertsons of the world who have the guts to Speak up and Speak the Truth.!!

So, The Truth™ is that God hates Blacks, Jews and Queers?  Cool, I don't have to change any of my previously held assumptions.

Mine is 60 every two weeks. It isnt even that great, at least compaired to what I had prior to the health insurance cleansing of 2013.

Because clearly you're doing something very, very wrong. Or you have, like, 8 children.

Or he's using his work coverage costs as his basis. My work coverage costs way more than the state marketplace (in my case, Covered California), for worse coverage. Catch is, I don't get the money if I decline coverage and it's also tax free if I go through work.

I agree pretty much with the position Breitbart took on this, that BO was born in Hawaii.

The same thing happened to me. It turns out that the only way Experian can verify a person is by looking at their credit history in the last two years. I have not made any new, large purchases in the last two years on credit, so I did not exist for them. I over-nighted my information to an address in Kentucky - I wanted verification it arrived. Three days later, I was in the system.

But it's a really dumb way to verify a person. I pay taxes, and it seems like that would have been a lot more accurate.

What's wrong you ran out of excuses for the failing of the administrations crowning achievement. Or is it that you can not blame someone else for the failings. Are you sure you do not want to point out that the deadlines kept being pushed back because lack of enrollment. And late to a thread, if you consider 79 posts late than you are grasping the bottom of the barrel for excuses.

Ok lay it down, tell me how it is. I am really curious as to the reasons you want to point out for the failings of the ACA. And please refrain from using Fox news, Republicans and who ever else Dems want to blame for their failings. And please tell me how you think that the administration who could not find a competent web developer can manage a healthcare system.

Questions should have a question mark.

I don't think anyone is happy with the website roll out. Yes, it stinks.

Enrollment came late for Massachusetts when they implemented their Romney's version.  I would like to see how this plays out.

What absolutely astounds me is that Republicans (I'm guessing you are one, apologies if I'm wrong), are against a market based solution--proposed by Republicans in the past! It's a hand out to insurance companies!

And, they still don't have an alternative other than repeal, repeal, repeal.

No, it's not necessarily a crowning achievement, but a good step forward. Hopefully, it will be judged as the stepping stone to single payer.

1) What's failing about it?
2) They aren't managing a healthcare system.  They're leaving that up to private industry.

You're just butthurt cause you have to watch Republicans lose a debate for the first time in 30 years.  You'll get over it.

1. technical glitches other wise know as a POS website.
2. less than half of the anticipated enrollees signed up. Both federal and state.
3. Complicated website forced the Admin to push back deadlines.
3. Enrollees will have extra time to pay instead of by the 1st they have until the tenth now forcing insurers to cover without payment.
4. Website is still full of glitches and the Admin is going to pay another 50 million to fix it.
5. Half billion dollar web site nobody thought to test to see if it worked.
6. Even the POTUS could not symbolically sign up.
7. Cost will be higher for most and people look at the bottom line, not the package. Subsidizes will be given as tax credits, and for most, end of year credits do not pay bills now.
8. Most top hospitals will not accept ACA sponsored plans.
9. If one could not afford insurance then, how can they afford it now.
10. The ACA broke a system for a few million uninsured.
11. Businesses where given extensions on mandates. I wonder why?

I know this is all Fox News fault and the Republicans also and yea just because I do not agree with the ACA means I am a racists. Your turn, please tell me how it is.

No this will not go away. People do not like being forced to purchase a product or service. What is to stop future administrations from enacting laws to purchase other goods or services, say like from a failing GM. Those who can not afford insurance will always be reminded of it every month.

What is it 2015, when the business mandates come online and corporations and business start trying to skate the system, millions more will be reminded of the failed ACA.
