In honor of the Arsenal-Chelsea match, Yahoo's Dirty Tackle went and theorized what would've happened if they extended it. This line was gold:

97' - Jose Mourinho renames Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba the "Ghost of Goalless Past, the Ghost of Goalless Present and the Ghost of Goalless Future."

I liked this line a little better:

136' - The match becomes so boring that fans decide to connect with each other on a deeper and personal level, sharing the hopes and fears they long ago buried deep within themselves and fostering more meaningful relationships that are nourished by the absence of superficial discussions about sports. Then someone says the referee deserves genital rabies and everyone does the wave.

Trying to figure out how to work my Stevie G jersey into whatever I wear to work today.

If my boss weren't in today I'd say fark it, and wear it on top in all its glory

Pretty sure today's slate of games will either make me or break me in the FFPL. So many variables...

Dear Manchester United: this is why I've stopped putting my banker on you.

2013-12-26 07:53:41 AM
Hull already? Really?

2013-12-26 07:55:26 AM
How bad is it that I expect to be burned by United every single time they play? It's like the soul of last year's Arsenal entered this team.

2013-12-26 07:58:23 AM
Wow. Hope I didn't put my banker here...

Princip's Sandwich: How bad is it that I expect to be burned by United every single time they play? It's like the soul of last year's Arsenal entered this team.

It started early on. Picking up Ozil was huge for Arsenal's confidence, and United's lack of transfer window activity I believe hurt theirs.

Holy shiat, 2-0 Hull!

Well, at least I was smart enough to bank on the real 3x-banker dependable team: Everton.

2013-12-26 08:02:31 AM
What did Young do to poor McGregor? I'm following on Eurosport, and all I'm getting is a 50/50 challenge for the ball that went wrong.

Me too, but they have 8 starters injured. I'm relying on Martinez' coaching and Everton being at Goodison Park to pull this out. Sunderland is mostly atrocious, but they can sneak up on you.

That's an accurate description.

Wow. 2-2.

Rooney: "F*ck this shiat, give me the damn ball"

2013-12-26 08:13:19 AM
Well damn. That's quite a response. Maybe Moyes will finally notice that having an attacking formation isn't that bad?

2013-12-26 08:26:33 AM
If this was Furgasons Utd I would be saying that 'ull had had their chance and its now going to be a 4-2 defeat for them.

Now i'm not so sure

I'm less sure than I used to be, but still leaning a lot more strongly toward United after they erased their two-goal deficit in 13 minutes.

2013-12-26 08:56:27 AM
The game has reverted to the standard Moyesnoozefest

2013-12-26 09:02:14 AM
Had United winning 2-1, so obviously that's gone.  I also bankered on Everton, but I'm hoping United pull this out as far as the table goes.

2013-12-26 09:09:42 AM
Wooo, 3-2!

2013-12-26 09:10:19 AM
Ashley Young with the assist haha

On the plus side, supporting Man Utd is a lot more exciting these days. Wins bring a lot more satisfaction when they aren't so routine.

How is the Fulham match not being aired today? Can't find it on any of the NBC channels or the overflow on DirectTV.

I had this 3-1, so another ManU goal would be nice

Morning/afternoon. If you tell me you had this match at 2-4, I'll be pissed

It's good to see Steve Harper in goal for Hull (but too bad McGregor is hurt).  One of the good guys.

1-2 I think.

Young is a kind of second rate Nani.

And so is Nani.

Seems Januzaj has picked Ashley Young as his role model.

It's in Norfolk, we are so behind the times we will be getting electricity next year.

How did Post not get a yellow card for that? Blatant attack on the Hull defender and not even so much as a warning from the referee.

Wouldn't help, I'm heading to the office and was hoping to record it. Looks like there was just one game too many in that timeslot and it got bumped. I'll just stream the radio broadcast through the Fulham app.

It looks like the Palace/Villa match isn't being shown on TV here either.

nathanjr hasn't entered a pred for this match. Hope he hasn't forgotten the whole bottom half of the round! Still time for the other nine games...

This will be rough on Hull if they lose. To beat the drop you really need to beat the mid-table clubs like United.

Haha, could be part of it. Best of luck to you today, much needed points. I'll make you a deal, let us get the 3 today and you can have the FA Cup win when we come back.

And yet, so little boxing.

Guess I'll wait for Soccer Day to watch some fights.

Rooney could have stayed on his feet and kept the ball there.  The diving in this United team is embarrassing.

Are you saying you think there is a chance they will come out about their boyfriends in a You Tube clip?
