I was going to mention that it was odd that there are no WI bars mentioned, but I wouldn't come here if I had a choice either.

I like the Yard House here in xxxxxxxxxx.  They've got a little something for everyone.

Since I live within stumbling distance of Monk's Cafe, I approve of this list.

For you Northern Delaware peeps I highly recommend Two Stones Pub. Not only do they love beer, they also love cooking.

I've been to:
Hopcat
Bangers
Easy tiger
Falling rock
The porter
Holy grale
Gingerman
Maybe a few others.

All are fantastic beer joints.

I've been to many that others have mentioned in the comments.

All excellent beer joints.

Some of you may take for granted that we live in a time of this many fantastic beer joints. 10-15 years ago this list was much shorter.

Don't take it for granted bishes.

ManRay: At least the got the right ones in GA.

And if you are just interested in variety, most of Taco Macs have 300+ on draft and bottle.

They most certainly did.

mandoskippy: Jeep2011: At least it was not a slide show. But the Flying Saucer in Fort Worth Texas has over 200 beer labels and the servers wear school girl outfits.  So yea there is that. I have not found a cool place to drink beer in Pittsburgh. Suggestions, I live 15 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh.

Thanks and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Just be Merry and Happy Dammit.
Christmas morning in and my Mom keeps her house at a warm 58 degrees. WTF?

What?

Fatheads
Houghs
Church brewery just to name a few in Pitt

Oh...beer hive in Salt Lake City is awesome

Have to think about 15 miles north..........but Sidelines in Millvale has a great selection. Also, there are some awesome new microbreweries popping up in Lawrenceville. Roundabout is awesome and Hop Farm is really good too.

Don't be ashamed to live in Florida. Wear it proud.

This. Came for Brick Store Pub, leaving satisfied, yet disappointed at lack of Taco Mac. I've burned many a paycheck there after my shift at Chili's across the street.

CALIFORNIA Toronado (San Francisco)

What we'd order on tap: Russian River Pliny the Elder

I just had that for the first time the other day.  That is the nastiest, pine-tree-tasting swill I've ever quaffed.  When hipsters recommend a beer...stay away. Stay far away from it.  Blech!!

I'm not defending any of the list's many omissions, but I support its listing of The Thirsty Monk in Asheville.  Asheville is a little island of awesome surrounded by what can only be described as North Carolina, and The Thirsty Monk is one of the big reasons why.

Also, you can buy bottles to take away.  I think I blew over $200 on those alone, because they had a whole rack of Trappists I'd never been able to find before.

I spend more time at the Fred than I do upstairs, unless it is football season. I am only on 200 or so, my buddy is closing in on 1k. He lives closer though.

Bukowski's is OK. Good crowd and good selection. If you drink one of everything you get your name etched in a glass and they hang it over the bar. It would take several years to do that at my pace.

But for sheer selection in Boston the Sunset Grill and Tap is king. Hundreds to choose from, dozens on tap (updated monthly). Food is pretty good, too.
