I was at a best buy the other day and the restroom reeked of the tail end of taco bell.

I'm going to be reading the follow up next week, where someone who bought the full uniform went in and robbed the place and no one was the wiser.

Why would anyone pay good money to be a walking advertisement for a fast food place? Or any company, for that matter.

Not Sure this is a good idea...

My self-esteem is tied to wearing the advertising campaigns for various products.

People definitely love me more when I wear the right commercials. I fit in with everyone when I pay to advertise for giant corporations.

You know, for all the "taco bell = diarrhea" jokes you guys throw around, it usually does the opposite for me.

Just saying.

Americans are idiots who think TV commercials reflect reality.

If they sold t-shirts of the slogans they've used on their hot sauce packets they could make a TON of money. Hell, "Nice palm. I see a great deal of pleasure in your future" is probably a million-seller by itself.

2013-12-24 09:34:14 PM
I like it. Ever since Taco Bell stopped being a restaurant and transformed into a lifestyle brand, I've been waiting for a centralized provider of party wear. Now I don't have to frequent novelty shops like Spencer's for graphic tees or snapbacks, I can go directly to the source.

I just hope they drop some v-necks and skinny tanks soon (hopefully or the spring line.)

Jim Gaffigan can do a sponsored chunk about this.

"What's the t-shirt made of? It's cotton, polyester, and ink. Well how about the boxer shorts? Those are polyester, cotton, and ink. ... How many jokes about clothing does this guy have?"

Wear clothing with Taco Bell on it not because of a job requirement but willingly and on purpose? I don't farking think so.

I have to admit though that charging people to advertise your product for you is diabolical. It's like bizarro world with a reverse marketing position.
Please let me pay you so I can do your advertising for you!

Yeah, no thanks. I remember when I was in jr. high and saw people wearing $30 t shirts that had the name of a major brand of jeans on the front, asking them "YOU KNOW YOUR SHIRT IS NO BETTER THAN MY $4 T, RIGHT?"

Those people are probably going to buy their kids Taco Bell shirts now.

farking sad but true, a huge amount of young people display corporate logos of their fav energy drinks, sports equipment, stereo gadgets etcetera on their clothing, on their insipid imported 4 cyl motor vehicles with mondo oversized exhaust systems blah blah blah. they have no soul, are brainwashed easily and love to be shills for the man. tools. tools galore. this is not a new trend.

The In-N-Out t-shirts weren't nearly as popular as the bumper stickers, which could be easily modified:
