So precious snowflake couldn't handle her liquor and now everyone else is responsible?

By their States laws, yes.

Not sure how successful that suit is going to be given that she was drunk (and possibly coked out* with a heart condition) enough to leave a bar, which she got into underage, without her shoes, wallet, phone and purse. Something horrible happened but I'm not sure how far the family is going to get with this suit.

* A few of the guys said she did it and they partook. Given the general location and several of the people living in Smallwood, with its winter wonderland reputation, I can't say it's not something to give serious thought to.

Bslim: So precious snowflake couldn't handle her liquor and now everyone else is responsible?

Yes no sort of.
Just because you are drunk doesnt mean that other people have no responsibilities. Esp people selling alcohol, etc, etc.

But yah. This is the problem with our current system for dealing with alcohol and kids/adults.
The idea that you magically become an adult at 21 and can go from NEVER DRINKING to drinking responsibly is a bit stretched. Which is why I started drinking at 16. LOL

The parents want someone to blame because they have no answers.  They are going to throw shiat at the wall and see what sticks.  After all this time, unless new evidence shows up, I don't think they can convince any jury that any particular person is responsible.  (beyond their dumbass daughter's own responsibility for herself)
