Why does this not suprise me?

TFA has nothing to do with voter fraud and is simply an administrative error, but let's see who ignores that.

Awkward.

Liz Cheney sounds like a scheming evil biatch.  I wonder where she got it from?

I would be very surprised if most people weren't on multiple rolls..politically active people are much more likely to just register in their new residence than also call their old residence to have them drop it. Sorta like informing the IRS by letter each time you move. Yeah, you're supposed to do it, but I feel accomplished to just get my change of address forms filled our correctly in the whirlwind of moving. In the list of things to do when people move "informing the IRS specfically is probably not too high on the list. But given his wife' candidacy, it was a oversight. But you're right. This isn't voter fraud.

This is WAY more "fraudy" than just about everything the GOP holds up as evidence of why we need to implement unreasonable voting restrictions.

I'm working on a new kind of anti-meme where you take the image and post it without the meme words on it.

And yet the GOP has called "administrative errors" vote fraud.  Even took down a major 'get out the vote' organization over it (perhaps you've heard of it).  So its fair game.

Back in the days of BBS, we called that an "image macro."
Sometimes, we made them out of Unicode characters because pictures took for farking ever on a 28.8 modem.

We didn't add text to them because like 9 people in the world had Photoshop. We just posted the image and people had to imagine funny misspelled words.

28.8? Wow. I remember being jealous that a buddy had a 1200 baud modem, which was four times faster than my 300 baud. I would have loved to have something so fast as a 28.8.

/left BBS before dial-up got fast

No, more the stuff the Democrats don't beleive exists in a large enough capacity to require sweeping, restrictive voting laws.

I mean, if I claimed Republicans felt school shootings *Didn't Exist* (Rather than school shootings are not a large enough problem to require sweeping new gun regulation), I'd sound like a crazy idiot.

In short:

You sound like a crazy idiot.

Sure, it was really just an error - but imagine if you will the colon-exploding on the right wing if this had been one of the Obamas or the Clintons. They would never, ever, ever shut up about it.

There are Teabilly posts I see regularly on facebook that suggest things like Obama really votes as "Barry Soetero" and so we can't be sure if he is casting just one vote or two.

This isn't voter fraud.  It's laziness on the part of her husband for not letting VA know or it's sloppy record-keeping on VA's part.  Either way, it's no more fraud than having dead people on your voter rolls.  As long as dead people/candidate family members aren't actively voting where they're not supposed to, there's no fraud.

The GOP screws up enough on their own.  No reason to invent outrages and become just as ridiculous as they are.

Of course voter fraud exists.

Mitt Romney committed voter fraud.

Ann Coulter committed voter fraud, several times.

A GOP primary campaign for a Massachusetts state House seat was sentenced to 4 months in jail for felony voter fraud.

The Republican Secretary of State of Indiana was convicted of voter fraud and got a 1 year sentence.

Republican political staffers commit voter fraud quite frequently.

Regular Republicans also commit voter fraud.

It's a pretty big problem.  No wonder Republicans are so certain voter fraud is a big issue - they're the ones doing it.

And by "voter fraud" you mean "not vote fraud", right?

ScaryBottles: Don't you guys ever get tired of looking like disingenuous hypocrites?

That's completely immaterial. The fact that conservatives are unrepentant liars about the topic (and every other topic) still doesn't make this vote fraud and claiming otherwise would just serve to incorrectly validate their idiotic arguments on the matter.

Perhaps Virginia should do what California does and automatically update voter registration when a voter updates their address with the DMV.

The difference, of course, is that California isn't afraid of letting poor blah people vote.

Philip Perry is a voter. He's a voter. Have you libtards ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe it's time to put back the "voter" in "voter fraud"? Of course you haven't, but please do continue with your witchhunt.

Look man according to the strictest legal definition it is in fact voter fraud. Is it really voter fraud, probably not but since they never make that distinction I don't see why I should have to. Seriously we're talking about people who really in their hearts believe that ACORN! stole the election for 0blowmetm last year so enough about fairness or reason already.

Voter fraud and voter registration fraud are sperate crimes. At least in NJ.

There are many more (than essentially zero) cases of the latter actually happening. Usually people who have two houses in different states.

Keep in mind that people who want to vote twice try not to register in two states across the country. It's a little inconvenient.
