Wow, that is some outstandingly shiatty writing.

"The Cardinals are one game back from the 49ers-and the two meet next week with major implications on the line."

So if they don't win, they won't get the major implications? What?

I think you have forgotten about the early Delhomme years there subby.  I can't really blame you since the late Delhomme years easily outshadow the early years.

Bleacher Report is probably the worst possible sports news site to use.  In addition to amateurish writing (read about how they find authors), any article that has more than one picture is a slideshow.

Checked ESPN power rankings going back to 2002, and yep, never been higher than #2.  Doubt they are #1 this week it'll take a bit longer for the Seahawk and Manningface priapism to end up in Bristol.

I see a scrimmage tonight between the 49ers and some Div III team using some castoff ACC QB, no games.

I know Seattle dropped the ball, but I have a hard time seeing Carolina at the top.  They barely beat the Saints and got slapped around by NO when they went to the dome.  Carolina's defense is pretty good, but I do think that their offense is a little vulnerable.

\damn, like almost every other NFC team

Well, the reverse. Seems like every team in the NFC East, North, and South is a garbage D getting dragged around by the offense.

I guess he should've thrown a "relevant" in front of "NFC".

I think the most "relevant" in terms of coverage out of those 3 divisions is the Saints who have lost 3 of their last 4. The Panthers are starting to get some eyeballs, though.

I am NOT looking forward to week 17. Even if my Cowboys win (which is unlikely seeing what the Eagles did to the Bears) they'll be next in line to get stomped by a team that isn't an abject failure in 1/3 of the facets of the game.

Really. That's a shame. Makes the 4th quarter collapse that much more likely to be blamed on the Cowboys D

Will the offense know what to do with a reasonably-skilled game manager under center?

Came here to make a horrible joke about Romo and Baby Got Back, but since I'm late, I'll refrain.

Dammit Orton to get the start for all the marbles against the Iggles.

So is this a new back issue regarding Romo, or did he wrench it carrying the rest of the team again?

So, if it is a career ending injury,  Romo's last play in the NFL will be a clutch last moment TD pass that kept Dallas' playoff chances alive.

Which, of course, means that the Eagles are somehow going to lose by giving up three 99-yard TD drives in the 4Q.

More like he destroyed it carrying the weight of all of his fan's excuses on his back.  And the media's, who proclaimed he was on the rise after beating Washington.

I doubt it's a career ending injury. He has played with a punctured lung in the past.

HA, like I have the trivia ready any week. I throw it together an hour before it goes green every week. It's the American way.

If that's the case, then bandwagon fans tend to be very moment-driven.  One crappy team beats another in one week.  But, don't worry, they beat Washington by one point, mostly due to what the media has deemed a Herculean effort in some way.

This is apparently worse considering what is at stake in this game.

IIRC the Cowboys have only attempted to convert 4 4th downs all year, they've converted 3, and 2 of them were on successive scoring drives in the 4th, one for the win at the end of the game to keep their playoff hopes alive in the month he supposedly sucks in.

But I'll stand by my comments. If you're a good QB you're not in that position to come back. They should have won easily over the Redskins who are terrible.

In Cam's defense, his array of other offensive weapons is...not ideal.
