He's still alive, but does he deserve to be?  Is that the question?  And if so, if so, who answers?  Who answers?

He must have hid the money in a heart-shaped box.

Why the hell couldn't he have stolen enough to bankrupt the band so we wouldn't be subjected to shiat like "Sirens" or "Mind your Manners"?

/I don't know why but Eddie Vedder is one of those people along with Rush's singer where I just can't stand their voice.

Me it's Celine Dion. Her voice is like getting a lobotomy pick shoved into each eye socket and having them repeatedly kicked in by a guy with steel-toed boots.

Embezzlement in music management doesn't seem to be uncommon, plus many bands have royalty disputes with their record companies. I wonder why more bands, particularly with large incomes from touring/record sales/merchandise, don't have annual independent audits done. Audits aren't cheap, but they would be a tax deduction and would catch fraud.

Was the manager an elderly woman behind the counter in a small town?

2013-12-23 11:49:43 AM
He got caught stealing $380k which means he really stole ONE MILLION DOLLARS

Obvious tag has the day off?

I've spent a short time working as a booking agent, dealing with these assholes. they are worthless slabs of skin that drive their bands into destitution  toward the end of their career.

BTW, theres money in working as a booking agent but the amount of respect you lose is not worth it.

If Eddie Vedder had blown his brains out 20 years ago, he would be canonized the way Kurt Corbain is now.

And if Corbain were still around, the hipsters would be making fun of him. The way shiat works

I'll take "Wild Speculation" for $1,000, Alex.

Not liking something you do is not the definition of hipster.

Kurt Cobain is canonized by morons. Dude made ok to good music here and there, but he was too weak to seek help for his obvious mental issues that were likely exacerbated by his marriage to that shrill harpy Courtney Love.

I like maybe three Pearl Jam songs, on their merits of being well written songs. Aside from that, I always figured they were boring mediocre musicians fronted by a boring mediocre singer. Same for Nirvana.

Much prefer Soundgarden or Alice in Chains.

I saw Alice in Chains back in the day. They were to sucky-est bunch of sucks that ever sucked. They opened up for Slayer, Anthrax & Megadeth. I think it was 1987 or so?

They were really, really bad.

I would rather see each of those bands before I went to see any grunge acts. I was speaking in relative terms.

Ed loves the wine but he's far from overweight. The guy is in great shape.

I've been a huge Pearl Jam fan for a long time.  That being said, Lightning Bolt is absolute garbage.

Saw Pearl Jam about a month ago. Best concert I've ever been too, and that list is both long and distinguished. (Like my you-know-what)

I disagree. In fact, I think Lightning Bolt is the band's best album since Yield.

Why do you dislike it so much?

It's just completely forgettable and bland.  It sounds like they just completely phoned it in.  I listened to it 4 times, and disliked it more each time.  I think it's easily their worst, and I really enjoyed their last two albums so I was pretty psyched for it.  Just really boring.

Chad Kroeger for me.  God that dude always sounds like he's straining to squeeze out a dry one.  His voice makes my stomach hurt.
