His eye is not twitching.  He doesn't give a shiat.

If they knew what was good for them, they would keep quiet, or also move away.

When the Olympics are over, anyone who keeps making noise will be... at risk.

"It was a PR move."

So...they weren't released from prison? I don't get it - even if Putin released them so as to not set himself up for a "Free Pussy Riot" protest (which would be amazing, if only for the signs), they're still out of prison. Assuming they've "paid their debt to society" in Putin's twitchy eyes (meaning they're not under house arrest or owe 5,000 more hours of community service in Siberia or something), who cares? Is she pissed they didn't get a full pardon?

Or have I missed something?

Phil was jailed by his govt? I missed that part.

Hey, did I miss something? Did Putin shave off part of their sentences?

Well done. It's the hashtag that sells it.

i guess she had to say something. i'd not be in the mood to say 'thanks, buddy' after months of false imprisonment.

I'd worry about during the games. All that attention and news print about the glorious victories of the Russian athletes will take up the entire front page and the clips will dominate the nightly news. Not a lot of free time to report about a couple of missing people.

No it's not. Every jail sentence has to end, but A&E can refuse to show his mug indefinitely.

/I'll give them 2 weeks before they change their minds and he apologizes on air out of the side of his face. I could care less, I've never watched the show.
//There's too much money to be made here for either side not to compromise.

I love that the news keeps referring to Pussy Riot as a punk band. They're an art collective with a large and highly fluid membership into all forms of artistic expression. It's only the punk music that got the attention of Russian authorities.

From what I heard they already were going to be released within a few more months when their sentence was up... so yea, releasing a few months early is pure PR

For a guy who doesn't give a shiat, he sure is touchy when someone criticizes him.
