The reply should be addressed to them on 7.62x39mm Full Metal Jackets delivered at 3,250FPS to the back of their skulls.

They are learning damage control. Oh, hooray! Isn't Yemen the first country slated to run out of drinking water? That should be fun.

So they finally admit to being terrorists?  It's a start I suppose.

Setting off a second bomb just after medical personnel reach the scene of the first is still acceptable.

It was his first day on the job.

/I'm not sure how I feel about this apology.  I think I would have been less pissed if they hadn't apologized for some reason.

...yet that is.

Got it.

Any chance they'll now realize that the collateral damage from American bombing is also an oopsie and stop using that as a justification to hate on us?

No, it was more a 'overzealous staffer' apology

Why so hard on them?  It's not like they quoted some homophobic shiat from the bible or something...

It seems it's getting difficult for them to find quality leadership.

Wait.  So an apology is okay when the US Air Force does it but not when it's Al Qaeda?

What the statement was missing but likely happened:  "The person responsible for this error has been beheaded."

2013-12-23 01:42:49 AM
Well, they did send flowers. That blew up and killed 2 doctors and 3 patients. They were REALLY sorry for that. So they sent more flowers, and a curiously large and very heavy box of candy that when shook, sounded like.....ball bearings, labeled "To only be opened by a Shia".

Do we even bother apologizing?  Don't we usually just call all the wedding guests "militants" and declare the drone strike a success until 8 months later leaked documents prove that we knowingly killed 3-4 civilians per legitimate target?

Bro, you don't drive around with guys like Anwar al-Zaqawi unless you are helping him. You just don't, they won't even let you. They are so paranoid that everyone is a spy that they don't let people they know very well near them. If you are with them, it's because they want you to be

And how many times has the US apologized for bombing wedding parties ect?

I'd be curious to read reports of drone operators intentionally targeting civilians. I won't hold my breath. I'd also like to read any reports that we kill an additional 3-4 people for every HVI we kill. Also also, i would put forth that most of them, if not all, are probably not civilian as they are cruising around with foreign insurgents with high ranking AQ status. You don't do that coincidentally

An honest mistake. With all the nurses out front, they probably mistook it for a women's college. You know... a "legitimate" target for a group of fundamentalist religious nutjobs!

I already posted one link in the thread you've apparently ignored, you can get off your ass and google for more if you want more.  They aren't hard to find...it's a well known problem at this point, widely and regularly publicized by a variety of major and reputable news sources.

Still not 100% sure if you're trolling or if you honestly believe drone strikes only hit while targets are "cruising around" in militant convoys, but I have to go to sleep..maybe I'll find out tomorrow.

I'd like something to back up the claim that the US military targets and intentionally kill civilians with drones. You have not provided such evidence

Also, make them credible. An article does not make it credible, facts make it credible. When I see things like "an eye witness said...." or "some people say..." it raises the bullshiat flag. Just looking for something that doesn't resemble a college opinion piece

An overzealous staffer has inadvertently provided our services to you.  We apologize for the inconvenience, but we request you forward any unused goods you have received to their intended recipient.  We understand that some of your staff is no longer working for you as a result of our actions, but I assure you that everyone who is duly owed compensation has already received payment in the form of 72 virgins.  Again, we apologize, and the staffer responsible has received remedial training, and will never make the same mistake again.
