Need to get some sleep so I can be up for the games, but in the meantime....League Championship Game.  At quarterback (standard scoring):

Tom Brady @ BAL (Brady traditionally struggles against the Ravens)
Nick Foles vs CHI (Bears can't stop the run so will he throw enough?)
Tony Romo @ WAS (It's Tony Romo)

Can only pick one.  If it matters, I'm projected to win by a small margin, but I trust NFL.com's projections about as much as I trust Romo to lead a fourth-quarter comeback.

Brady vs Ravens: Brady has been damn hot but...
Foles vs Chicago: My only worry is the slight potential he doesn't play the game since it may be meaningless.
Romo vs Romo: Its Romo, it's all about which Romo shows up.
If I had to rank em I think I still go Foles then Romo but there is a risk there.

I have a QB dilemma too

Cousins
Alex Smith
Cutler

I would rank them Cutler, Cousins and Smith but I am on the fence

Cutler might not play that much, Cousins you are not really all that sure what you get and Smith has a decent D he is going against and is never a td machine....

Bonus, I have Cutler going to Marshall so the potential....

THoughts?

T.Y. Hilton of Roddy White?

2013-12-22 10:48:09 AM
Need to decide on my last two spots (1 WR, 1 W/R).  Choices:

James Jones vs Pittsburgh in the snow
Em Sanders at Green Bay in the snow
Eddie Royal (Questionable) vs Oakland
Marvin Jones vs the Vikes in decent weather.
Darren Sproles at Carolina in the rain and storms.  (Already starting Thomas.)

I'm sure you can see why these choices suck.  Not many options in the free agent pool, either.

Yeah NFL projections are all over the place arent they?

I go Foles then Romo too. That isn't even because I hate Romo, Just think Foles will play the game to keep getting the experience and it will not be any kind of blowout...

I have Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, and James Jones for two slots at WR. Any suggestions?

Hilton not sure why...

Serious Black: I have Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, and James Jones for two slots at WR. Any suggestions?

Marshall is gonna be big, Fitz is still gonna get his

Again, I like Cousins here.

More process of elimination here

Sproles isnt doing much, and M. Jones I don't like either

Leaves J, Jones and Sanders

I'm still very much in the mix in my big league. 17 week season that goes by best record, so every week counts. I'm struggling to pick two of the following WR:

Fitzgerald
Amendola
White
Boldin

Not great choices, but i'm stacked at RB and i've been riding the Charles train lately.

2013-12-22 11:06:24 AM
My dilemna is small... Ray Rice or Leveon Bell? I know Bell's got the hot hand, but part of me thinks Rice turns it on against NE with Flacco a bit injured...

I'd go Fitz and Amendola. With Crabtree back, Boldin won't get as many targets.

Romo will be fine this week. This is the game the Cowboys win to set up a must win against Philly which they will absolutely tank in all phases of the game.

2013-12-22 11:10:04 AM
I have Roddy White going against San Fran, and I suspect he's not going to do much there, though nfl.com is projecting 14 points. I have Marlon Brown benched, only projected for 11. I can't imagine White is going to do much against the farking 49ers, but Brown isn't exactly a superstar just yet, however I imagine the Ravens will be pulling out all the stops today, epsecially against NE, with Flacco's banged-up knee, and Ray Rice's lousy year. Any thoughts?

Maybe it's just me trying to rationalize the fact that I have no choice, but maybe Foles' youth keeps him in the game (you know, for the experience).  I really hope so.

Well shiat... MJD is starting which Jordan Todman is going to be worthless for me. Looks like I'll be starting Rice and Bell...

2013-12-22 11:11:05 AM
My only issue is which two to start from Lynch, Moreno and Gore. Been running Lynch and Moreno most of the season, so maybe just stick with what has mostly worked out. Also have to choose between P. Manning and Brees, but once again been running Manning all but bye week. Would be fun to win the championship with Brees and Gore on the bench.

2013-12-22 11:12:49 AM
Only 2 teams out of 18 still in the hunt.  Sadly, Bloody Clown Shoes did not make it 3 in a row.

2013-12-22 11:13:57 AM
Here's the worst winning lineup you'll ever see. Likely decision in bold

QB: Cousins v Dallas or Rothlisberger v GB

2 RBs: Pierre Thomas, Le'Veon Bell, Steven Riddley

2 WRs: Eric Decker, Andre Caldwell, Marvin Jones, T.Y. Hilton, Jerrico Cotchery

Flex:  Marvin Jones

Somehow, this team is in the championship.

2013-12-22 11:14:00 AM
1. Delanie Walker vs JAX or Charles Clay vs BUF?
2. Andre Brown or Joique Bell (facing each other)?

2013-12-22 11:15:55 AM
My WR2 sucks.

I am thinking of going with Caldwall because my opponent has P. Manning, so I at least run the chance of minimizing the damage he can do there.

2013-12-22 11:19:00 AM
Spiller, lacy, bell. Can only play 2. I hate having RBs in the same game, but I don't think I can justify putting spiller over lacy or over bell as he faces my pack's Swiss cheese defense.

2013-12-22 11:20:09 AM
Steven Jackson @SF or Danny Amendola @Bal?  Not a PPR league.

Niners stop the run and Amendola had a good week last week.  But Amendola's sucked all year and S-Jax has turned my team around.  In a pinch, I like rbs over wrs.  Leaning Jackson.

If MJD sits, then I play Todman.

The weather is what's giving me cause for concern, honestly.  Otherwise I'd be 100% on board with this.

Need three of these four at WR
A Jeffrey
D Jackson
C Johnson
D Bryant
Johnson and Jackson seem obvious, I guess the choice is Jeffrey or Bryant though I'm leaning Jeffrey because Dallas.
Need two of the three at RB
R Bush
K Moreno
C Johnson

I think that's where I'd go. Bryant should have a great game because Dallas is going to fall behind early and often.

I keep going back and forth. I think i'm sticking with Amendola because it's PPR. I hate the rest of my choices. At least they're all playing later games and I have time to change my mind another 15 times!

2 WR slots to fill out of:

Josh Gordon, Pierre Garcon, Keenan Allen, Mike Wallace

Gordon seems like a no-brainer to me, wallace was just for depth, so i'm deciding between garcon/allen for the second spot. Cowboys secondary is garbage, but cousins has been kinda inconsistent and it's raining there today. Allen might still be recovering from his leg injury. Which of the two do I go with today?

Jason Campbell or Andrew Luck?

Campbell's had a few good weeks, but luck was on fire last week. However the Colts are playing KC. Tough D.

So, the word is that MJD might start, though it's uncertain how much he'll actually play.  I got Jordan Todman as a flex option, but with him now being a bit of a shaky play, I wonder if I should put someone else in the flex spot.  Here's who I have on my bench:

Danny Woodhead, Greg Olsen, Kendall Wright, Doug Baldwin

2013-12-22 11:36:10 AM
I'm starting Hakeem Nicks over D. Bowe solely for the fact that he has the Lions this week.  They(Lions) have ruined enough Sundays for me as a fan, let's see if they can come through in fantasy...

2013-12-22 11:36:47 AM
Brady or Stafford?  Det is at home in the dome. I'm leaning Stafford.

Worried about Peterson getting enough carries. He's supposed to start but he's been hurt and the backups have performed well.
His replacement would be Chris Johnson or Fred Jackson. Demarco Murray is my solid #2

For my rb2
Todman vs Tenn (MJD starting but may not finish)
Rice vs NE (has sucked this year, but this is a great matchup)
Or Bell vs NYG (Bush is the starter, but this is a good matchup).

Set at rb1 with McCoy.

I need to pick one of the three if Jones-Drew plays, ruining my great Todman pickup:

Marvin Jones (high risk, but the Vike's D could really help me out)
Mendenhall
Roddy White
Greg Jennings
Steve Smith.

Right now I'm leaning towards Jones, as I'm down in projections by 8ish, and need a Hail Mary shot.  So, if Jones-Drew is going to play, and Todman wont play as much, who do you pick?
