Never really got into the wide-screen mania

Kinda like my monitors like I like my women: squared, small, and...well, I dunno how to complete this joke.

That's GOT to be satire.

1. Dude, get that thing removed from your neck. It creeps me out.
2. Quit with the farking vertigo-inducing "camerawork." YOU ARE NOT EDGY.

It's pre-Poe's Law, so I really have no idea. I'm glad the Wayback Machine has preserved it for future generations, though. One of the Internet's earliest trolls?

When I worked at Blockbuster I always got a kick out of people who complained about letterboxed videos. "Why does it have those stupid black bars at the top and bottom of the screen?!?" Here, enjoy your pan-and-scan.

Interesting but he keeps looking away from the camera like he forgot the script or someone is off-camera motioning for him to zip up his fly.

I can't stand going to bars or restaurants with TV's  in them for various reasons but this one is most annoying: invariably, the chuckleheads in charge have the adjustments wrong and people look all  squashed, or they use that godawful center-is-normal-but edges-stretch-out mode.

I farking hate 16:9 monitors. I don't mind 16:10, but I prefer 16:12. But, no one makes any of those any more. Hell, it's hard to find good 16:10's.

Is this one of those 20 minute videos that conveys 50 words worth of knowledge that the millennials love nowadays?

And now people will willingly stretch their 4:3 programming to fill their widescreen so they don't have "wasted, unused" portions of their TV's.

Makes me nauseous.  Trying to see a tit through scrambled skinemax as a kid was less disorienting.  Drunken go carts, not a problem.  Stretched video, the stomach flops.

Factor in how some channels try to solve the problem for you, all in a different manner, and you almost need different settings for every channel.

Also, people who upload internet video's with farked up scaling.  WTF kind of drugs are they on?
