Yeah, yeah, human terribleness is innate, and not learned.

Families survive the Terrible Twos because toddlers aren't strong enough to kill with their hands and aren't capable of using lethal weapons. A 2-year-old with the physical capacities of an adult would be terrifying.

Especially when they stand their ground.

"give each child one toy and they're both happy"

Hahaha. No.

No toddler is happy unless they control all the toys.

mwinberry: Well played, Subby, with the obscure Dr. Who reference

If it's obscure, it's only because it deserves to be. That was easily one of the worst story lines of the new series.

// Nothing is obscure on Fark.

Sorry, but outside of Fear Her, Daleks in Manhattan was the worst storyline. Followed by Super Saiyan Master turning the entire world into himself. If you're looking for the worst 11th Doctor story then I'm going with Night Terrors.

can we all just agree that all those episodes had some good and bad merits?

Definitely not the wrong thread. When referring to my twin three-and-a-half year olds, who mete out their own terrible brand of justice on each other.

I believe that mwinberry's use of the word "obscure" had a core of weapons-grade sarcasm.

Somehow I love Doctor Who, despite the fact the nearly every individual episode is complete shiat.

I liked all of those episodes.  One of the great things about Doctor Who is that it isn't afraid to be a bit cheesy.

Hell, I think the sole reason our 8 month old twins learned to crawl is to get over to the other one and steal their toy.

While giggling.

I'll watch Love and Monsters. I'll watch Fear Her. I'll even watch Daleks in Manhattan. But the one episode I'll never watch again is The Rings of Akhaten. It should have been among the best episodes and it was rendered unwatchable.
