FTFA:  The judge wrote that Klayman "then went on to explain that he and his clients had received inexplicable test messages and emails, not to mention a disc, containing a spyware program."

Dude.  Relax.  We have all gotten those discs from AOL.

One of these days we will create the technology that will allow people's thoughts to be transformed into moving images.  When they hook this guy up, they're going to see an epic clown circus.....probably with nothing but naked man clowns

Klayman [told] WND head Jerome Corsi that Lemon should be fired for being a "well-known ultra-leftist African-American political activist who pursues a LGBT sexual agenda,"

How dare he be black AND gay! In public!

CNN showed their unabashed liberalism and bias against Larry Klayman by allowing Larry Klayman on the air and letting him speak in his own words.

Derpers gotta derp

Earlier this year, Klayman announced at a rally during the government shutdown that a coup was going to sweep President Barack Obama out of office on November 19. Pointing toward the White House, the former Freedom Works leader ordered Obama to "put the Koran down" and "come out with your hands up."

An understandable mistake.

So, he's a crazy person. Why is anyone interviewing him to begin with?

Obama cashed the bowl and repacked with schwag. Then he ate all the Funyuns, upper-decked the hall toilet, made out with my girlfriend and drove over my lawn when he left. Thanks, Obama.

Second.

sendtodave: So, he's a crazy person. Why is anyone interviewing him to begin with?

Because no one wants to be accused of being a part of the liberal media by claiming facts are more valid than lies.

2013-12-19 06:21:54 PM
So, let's see.

On Monday, U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon - appointed by George W. Bush - found in favor of a suit by Klayman and fellow right-wing activist Charles Strange alleging that the National Security Agency's metadata spying program is unconstitutional.

And this guy is STILL BIATCHING?!??! WTF???

Good point. You'd need to devote equal time to facts and crazy lies, if you wanted to say that you value balance.

Wow. Klayman's Wikipedia page reads like an extended list of fail. Plus he graduated from Duke, which as we all know, sucks.

2013-12-19 06:27:27 PM
On the one hand it is clearly disastrous for Klayman to have someone bring up the things he has said and done.

On the other hand CNN was clearly targeting Klayman since researching an interview subject and bringing up difficult facts is something they usually would never do.

These discs tell a story!  Story about...  good!  Story about bad.

These discs are all that are left of the true story!  True story, of the closing of the third age.

Willie know, that once you know this truth, then you know what to do!

Good. Much though I'd like to see the NSA reined in by the judiciary, the idea of Larry Klayman being hailed as a heroic defender of the Constitution is chilling. Better that he gets plenty of TV time, so that in the future we can all laugh heartily at the memory of the time where the second-craziest man in American (after Louie Gohmert, naturally) ended up doing something useful even if he mostly wanted to stick it to the black guy in office.

2013-12-19 06:39:10 PM
Were there multiple suits on the same subject matter? I mean, did the courts look through the list and see Larry Klayman and go, "That's the one! That's the case we need to let through!"

You know, you can't purport to be the macho party/ideology if you cry like a little girl and blame someone else each time you screw up. Just last week I created my own fiasco and immediately set about a) apologizing and b) ensuring that such a thing won't happen again. I dunno, I thought that's how adults handled things. This guy, and countless other professional victims will sooner invent an ominous agenda (we meet on Thursdays and yes, there is punch and pie) than simply admit they gave a terrible interview or speech.

Oh, but it's just some wingnut, so who cares, right? Sadly, it's systemic in the 'conservative' ideological bubble these days. A woman who came dangerously close to being a heartbeat from the presidency blamed noted jugular-hungry investigative "gotcha" journalist Katie-farking-Couric for her own blatant ineptitude at handling herself under even a modicum of stress. And her legions of window-licking supporters ran with that line, loudly wishing for the media to be fair to her. How much fairer does it get when all you've done is let someone speak, dooming themselves?

Farking crybabies, all of 'em.

HotWingConspiracy: I'm still entirely unclear how this clown ass got this ruling when everyone else that has tried this were told they had no standing because they couldn't prove their data was collected.

*shrug*

He was able to prove his data were collected. Courts don't care if the plaintiff is a complete and utter loon, so long as his evidence is solid. Everyone else came in and their evidence wasn't good enough to pass muster. Klansman came in, and his tinfoil-hat evidence did. Who cares, as long as what the judge is saying is the NSA can't gather evidence the way they've been doing because it's unconstitutional.

2013-12-19 06:50:57 PM

sendtodave: So, he's a crazy person. Why is anyone interviewing him to begin with?

It's because CNN is bad at news.  They have one job, and they won't do it.

Klayman - who has sued, variously,
President Barack Obama in a "birther" lawsuit demanding evidence of the president's birth in Hawaii,
the Minneapolis City Pages and
the Phoenix Sun-Times,
his ex-wife,
an Ohio family court official,
the Clinton administration (18 different times)
and even his own mother

Busy guy.

He was probably paid by the NSA to start the suit. They need to beshiat the waters at this point.

He's right about the USA's intelligence apparatus perpetrating some of the largest constitutional violations in history though.  Sadly however, this nutbag saying so actually makes people LESS likely to believe it.

Stopped clock, yadda yadda.
