Sometimes I wonder if there aren't even admins at work anymore.  Maybe it's just some program designed to approve the most inflammatory and argument-provoking headlines.

Click-bait. How do you think they make money?

Article is Canadian about Canadians (and Americans), but basically, Canada.

That was always the goal. Don't cure it. Just allow people to live with it...if they have money for drugs...forever.

i would assume it's because the use of guns has been known to shorten the lives of at least a few people

If only there were more guns per person then we would live longer.  Thanks, libs.

I think my new headline...

"There is no God, but if there was he'd drink ice-cold Coors with his deep dish BBQ chili (with beans) pizza, but he would never, ever vote Republican or Democrat or deign to speak to that new gay Pope."

...has a shot.

/the article will be a slideshow of Zimmerman pics

Let me get this straight - a site devoted to discussing not-news, often uses discussion topics which provoke arguments?

Would you prefer to go to a site where everyone talks about the wetness of water, or other such topics of lower emotional/mental/etc involvement?

I think, but maybe that's just me, that it was kind of a sort of joke and not totally completely serious.

As a chemist who has worked on one of the drugs now on the marketwhile in grad school, I have to say fark you.  There is no known way to CURE any virus, just immunize and/or treat.  Before HIV research there were almost no ideas on how to even treat viruses only their symptoms.  So unless you plan on getting into biomedical research yourself you should keep quiet on things you don't know about.

Does this mean we can stop talking about it now? Sorry, but other than the teeny tiny percent of AIDS sufferers that got it by honest accident or were born with it, these people deserve whatever comes their way on the same level smokers getting lung cancer do.

Do something stupid, enjoy the consequences.

But we'll always be left with one asshole with a gun, unless he accidently shoots himself, which considering how some people treat gun safety is highly likely.

Dammit, I came in here to say that.
