The NHL should really think about putting a team in Toronto. After all, it's Canada's largest city and there are quite a bit of junior teams in the area that it could really hold a fan base. I know Buffalo and Ottawa are close by but they really aren't doing to good. Stupid Bettman has teams in Florida and Arizona but not Tononto.

This is the same Bruins team that just lost 4-2 to the Sabres, right? The last-place Sabres.

WhiskeySticks: keylock71: soopey: ds_4815: keylock71: They were pretty close to sending the Bruins packing last season...

I mean the comeback win was awesome and I was jumping around the house like a little kid, but the Leafs can beat Boston.

This.

Not to mention many Bruins fans I've encountered seem incredibly quick to forget what happened the year before they won the Cup.

I was at the TD Garden that night.
I was not very drunk.
I got drunker after the game ended.

Watched it from home... There was more than a few doors slammed and things thrown that night...

But then the Bruins swept the Flyers on their way to a Cup Championship the following year, so I got over it. : )

How were you feeling after this happend on that fateful evening of June 24th?
Ahh...memories.

I screamed "NOOO!", threw the dog's squeaky toy at the tv, then finished my beer, then congratulated everyone in the fark thread, and settled in for a good Bettman booing.

I remember exactly where I was.

It was my (soon to be) sister-in-law's rehearsal dinner.

Fortunately for me it was more of a cocktail party with food, but there I was, in the corner, my eyes glued to the screen, watching to see if the Flyers would make history.

"Would you stop being anti-social and maybe talk to some people?"

" THIS IS THE BRINK OF HOCKEY HISTORY! I CAN'T MISS THIS!"

FTFA:"It's going to have to come the slow and steady way, even if you're one of those who believes Steven Stamkos will do anything to become a Leaf when he's a free agent in 2016. "

I've not heard that rumor before. Allow me to give you my reaction, "AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... You jamokes think Stamkos will come to some sorry-ass loser organization after just leaving a sorry-ass loser organization!? AHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA."
