He's very good.

"I really wish they were balls".

At least that interviewer recognised him quickly enough, unlike the NBC people that failed to spot the random tourist they interviewed in London during the Olympics was Evander Holyfield

Fonzi be short

The Fonz (Henry Winkler) thinks he is losing his cool.

You truly haven't lived until you've seen the Fonzie statue in Milwaukee.

Seriously.

Never pieced together that HE was the Fonz.

I probably know him best as Si from Children's Hospital. Lol. Guess I'm not that old

2013-12-19 02:35:21 PM
I wonder if he has a tattoo of the Heathrow airport on his ass

it at the very least means that i AM old, since i pretty much ONLY know him as the fonz, and the coach on "the waterboy".

i think i may have actually watched more "children's hospital" than i have "arrested development", but that's not saying much at all.

fta: the interviewer said he saw a "middle-aged man", talking about winkler.

my dad would be happy to know that he is middle-aged, being that winkler is about 6 months older than my dad. they are in their late-60s.

Pumpernickel bread: Fonzi be short

Yes, yes he is.  My dad has been friends since childhood with Henry Winkler (they grew up in the same neighborhood) and I have met him and he is shockingly short.  My dad is quite tall, and Henry is always insisting he sit down to cover the difference.

I had a chance to see Henry Winkler talk about his children's books a couple of years ago - very sweet man.

I saw him shilling reverse mortgages on tv last week during football.

Aaaaaayyyyyy

I liked Fonzie as a kid for some reason, but beyond that, I think I've hated every character he's ever played. I don't know why he bothers me, but I can't stand his acting/presence/whatever.

Yeah, but that's what Brits look like at 35. Sad but true.

Heathrow is okay if you are able to find out beforehand that your transatlantic flight terminal is a trainride away from the main terminal. Which means you aren't going to have enough time between transfers to enjoy a meal at the sushi bar.

At the end there did he ask him if he was "relaxed"? Was that some kind of setup to get him to say "I'm cool"?

It's more gradual than the way Russian women age, but the beginning and end points are in the same places.

I assume it was. If it was, that's some quick thinking by the reporter.

PROSTITUTION! But what does that mean really? Sometimes it helps to understand a word if you break it down, so let's do that now shall we? Pros... it doesn't mean anything, you can forget about that... Tit, I think we all know what that means, Tu, two tit and TION of course, from the Latin to shun... to say uh-uh no thank you anyway I don't want it, to push away... it doesn't even belong in this word really.

Same here. Just thinking about it gives me a chuckle. Winkler & Keaton were both great in that. And Shelley Long was quite the hottie back in the day.
