What was wrong with the Satire tag?

AverageAmericanGuy: What was wrong with the Satire tag?

Why get in the way of a good trollish headline?

It probably hasn't had its morning coffee yet. Maybe if we give it a few minutes it might show up?

Never understood the appeal of most political satire articles when there is more than enough comedy out there in the reality of politics.

Isn't satire supposed to be funny? That was just scary and sad.

Unfunny article is unfunny. The other stories linked on the site were equally bad. I kept reading them hoping for the promised satire, or even a bit of humor. Just a warning if anyone came here before RTFA.

That headline is borderline retarded

"Funny" like right-wing comedy is "funny."

But the website Is called "race war update" so that should not surprise.

If only we could get that kind of hindsight from our former leaders.

// actually, hasn't Carter taken some blame for how shiattily things went?
// and I guess it was too much to ask of Reagan that he recall events of his presidency

Its kinda funny I guess. Mostly sad but it is one way of just collating the series of incidents from the 50's to the 80's in a succinct manner, or rather the incidents reported upon by Cracked. Would have been better to just have a list.

Hey guys, believe it or not, they still have ad space available. In fact, all their ad space is still available. Better hurry and get your bid in before that prime real estate is gone.

Can somebody please explain to these guys that satire isn't just typing up a bunch of fake quotes that make the speaker say things they probably would not say?

Exactly...

This is just like the right-wing fantasy bullshiat like the tired old confessional "I used to be an airhead liberal until I realized how wrong I was, and how right my conservative friends had been all along" essay that pops up routinely on right-wing websites,... where you just know some pale, doughy, dipshiat is sitting in his basement, typing one-handed as he tugs on his cocktail sausage, thinking "oh man, oh man, oh man.... wouldn't it be AWESOME if one of my smug, smarty-pants, know-it-all, elitist, liberal co-workers would finally just break down and admit this!!!"

I think they were trying for "say things they probably would not admit" rather than mere "say things they probably not say"

Well, that was pretty farken weak.
Talentless uninformed hacks.

A shame really. If ever there was an a verdant field for satire the CIA would certainly qualify.
The best part is that the truth is even funnier.
In a paranoid, sick and delusional kind of way. A bigger bunch of miscreants I've never met.

The shart I've seen would spin your heads.
It made no sense then and even less sense now.

they look just like everyone else

Sounds like someone is just dying to be asked what they used to do for a living.  I promise you it wasn't as important as you thought it was.
