My goal of the day is to get the aquastat on this water heater to the proper level for good clean dishes AND unscalded blistered hands.

None of those names sounds very English to me. If it's the ENGLISH league, why do they allow non-English players? Spain or Germany would never allow such a thing.

Ahh, Kolarov finally put one in.  That leaves Tom Huddlestone standing atop the "tons of shots, no goals" list in the EPL this year.

I think pretty much any goal from open play is better than set pieces. Not that that wasn't a spectacularly taken free kick, but they just seem less exciting than goals from normal play. Know what I mean?

Now that, as we say in the vernacular, is the dog's bollocks.

What about Roberto Carlos' physics-defying free-kick against France?

with apologies to kolarov, the goal of the day belonged to ki sung-yeung, who put sunderland through over chel$ki. and not because it was glamorous, but because, well, it bounced the blues.

There is something to be said for that.

Actually, you mean "meanwhile, in Morocco" as they're playing the Club World Cup and that goal wasn't enough to get out of the semifinals against a team representing the host country.

Still, he can still bend it.

And, the winning team stripped him down of all his gear after the game.

No, really.
