Waaaaaaaaah.

Playing in the street is a self-correcting problem. Kids who are too slow to get out of the way tend not to last very long. Kids who can get out of the way aren't a problem.

I cant understand why anyone would want to live in an HOA.

On the one hand, fark HOAs. On the other hand, keeping your kids off the street would be nice.

Eh, some "communities" here in FL start out as large, expansive planned developments, with HOA's, and they then morph into small towns. They have businesses, schools, etc. within the bounds of the HOA.

Because those kind of people are thoughtless drones who would rather see everything about life in a neat and "normal" package than have to deal with reality.

Kids should not be playing outside. God forbid they learn something. Kids should be inside either playing video games or doing drugs. We want them to become inept later on in life that they don't even know how to replace a burned out light bulb in their own car.

How many stickers from Hot Topic do you have on the back of your Toyota?

Fears of property values going down if they don't fellate the local bandit chief.

So they get to ride bikes on the lawns.  It's either that or run over the kids playing hopscotch on the sidewalks.

Is this town from the 50's?

This is a great example of the asinine nature of HOAs. Banning kids playing in the street, pshaw. You have to ban kids from existing entirely or they'll still walk through your yard on their way to and from school.

I can beat that...

css: Two sets of parents (5 mi down-road from me) petitioned the town to add 3 stop signs on a local thru street. (A thru street since the 1920's.)
Why?...
They'd gotten their elementary age kids mini-ATVs and wanted their snowflakes to be able to drive on the road!

Cul-de-sac, fine.  Through road, no.

None, they don't carry Dead Can Dance stickers, or any other Goth band I enjoy.

It's a long and windy road.  Might be good for flying kites.

I'll let my kids play on the street if I wanna! 'Murrika!

The subtard is just as stupid as the modtard who greenlight this, I assume it's the same person but I have opposing views on the matter.  Do TF member have to see this garbage?  If not I can see it's worth the money, if not, holy f'ing lol.

ABC Action News  reports the passed a bylaw last week, saying that children can't play in the street due to safety reasons in the gated community.

In the the HOA's defense, Justin Bieber lives in a gated community, and we've heard a few things about his driving skills.

Let's play a game - it's called "is your ATV faster than my car".
