Hey, obnoxious biker guy, get out of the woods and back on the sidewalk where you belong!

Should have fed him to the gators.

He should have shot the dude after he got him home. He could have been standing his ground!

Dumbass.

Reminds me of a few years ago where some "lady" nurse hit a homeless man while she was driving drunk, and the poor bastard was wedged in her windshield. So, instead of calling for help, (as i said..she was drunk) she drives home, and parks the car in the garage, with the poor bastard stuck in it., until he died. And if that wasn't bad enough, she actually found a friend that was willing to help conceal the crime.

"Police said once home, Inostroza picked up Camlin and tried to throw his body away in a wooded area. A landscape crew found Camlin's body and called 911.

Camlin was taken to North Broward Hospital with what are described as life threatening injuries and he's currently in critical condition."

Cramlin came back to life shortly after the landscape crew found his body?

The way car-bicycle collisions usually go the driver might be facing a $50 ticket.

A real friend will help you move a body.

After I have read the entire article, I believe the man should either get the death penalty or life in prison without parole... How can you be so entirely devoid of compassion, when the guy is obviously still alive? People make me farking sick.

Sometimes it is very easy to mistake a bicyclist as something else, like a deer for example.  So, this guy thinks he hits a deer, then does what any compassionate person without a gun would do and lays the deer down to die in the deer's natural home, the woods.

Not guilty.  Case closed.

Agreed, although I am not a huge proponent of the death penalty, and this guy in fact survived even if this perp would have let him die. In my mind that makes this first degree attempted murder. Aggravating circumstances, 25 to life.

Even if you're scared shiatless of going to prison for drinking and driving, compassion for a man dying due to your actions should override that.

I hope this pretty boy rots and has a long, long time to dwell on why he is in prison.

The cyclist is in critical condition at the age of 63 with head trauma. I assume the charges will be upgraded to murder with whatever "depraved indifference" tagline they have in FL to go with it. So you may get your wish.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but in Florida you can get away with murder.

The case could vary on the race and wealth of the people involved (What is Camlin?).  Inostroza sounds like white hispanic (since that's a thing now).  As long as there is a fund raiser for his defense he should be able to get away with it.

Subby is apparently not aware of the Fark Florida Tag Rules:

Rule 1:  If it happened in Florida, the Florida tag trumps all.
Rule 2:  If it happened in Florida, and you believe another tag is appropriate, refer to Rule 1.

Oh yeah, I remember that. the victim was moaning and responsive when she parked the car, and because she was drunk, she just went in the house and waited for him to "go away."

This sort of story is popular at AA meetings, although I don't believe that all those drunks could have hit someone and then were so drunk that they didn't even remember it until they saw the cloth/hair/blood on their car. I think it's just some urban legend at this point, because I used to hear that story at lots of AA meetings. If it happened as often as drunks like to repeat the story, there'd be dead hit and runs at every crossroads.

/BUT LOOK AT WHAT YOUR DRINKING DOES

If I were the perp in this case I would be more worried about the attempt homicide charge from throwing a wounded senior citizen in to the woods to let him die.
