Yes, they have been catching fire.

TFA leaves a lot to be desired.  Has this whackjob demonstrated behavior like this before? Is there a running feud between these people? Is it still bow-hunting season in Iowa?

This is about a trillion times more interesting than that non-story was. They could have covered that whole thing in two seconds.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a bow and arrows is a good guy with a bow and arrows.

Or the police.  You know, either way.

I think the correct answer would be no.

Sounds to me like she was just - standing her ground.  Say, wasn't there a FARK thread the other day with suggested places for Zimmerman to move, now that he says he's leaving Florida?

A helpful tidbit about the reporter:  Lillian Schrock is a reporter for The Des Moines Register. She is in her third year at Drake University studying Journalism and Sociology with a concentration in French studies.

She's only completed the journalism courses in Who and What.  She gets to the Why courses in her senior year.

You know there's a good backstory to this. They've been doing something she hates for a while. Probably involving gerbils, amplifiers, and the New York Post.

Yes, I know the word but I have never seen "wielding at" before. "Aiming" would be a more normal way to phrase it. Also "pointing" works. But "wielding" in this context seems bizarre.

"what's wrong with journalism these days" you ask. well there's your answer. fire the folks who have any real training and experience and get an intern.

I know your intention was for me to be titillated by that image, but if I'm honest, my initial reaction was disgust at the shape and obvious artificiality of those ridiculous pontoons under that bikini. I mean, really... Who the hell goes into the plastic surgeon and says, "You know those 1950s bullet bras that pointed out two different directions and looked like the tail lights on an Edsel Corsair? I'd like my tits to look like that!"

Those are what I, personally, would call "mournful tits." Whatever she had before her ridiculous upgrade had  to be better looking.

/And no, I'm not gay.
//I just think bolt-ons look stupid.

Yup.

Not to say that some enhancements can't look good, but when they're of the "smuggling water balloons under your skin" level things have gotten out of hand and they just aren't that good looking. If they aren't sized to the woman all that well then it's just a step backward. Better some nice A cups than spherical Ds where the skin is stretched tight enough to turn the tit into a snare drum.

I'm so glad to see that I wasn't the only one thinking all of this.  That being said, I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers either.

That would be all arrows. A powerful bow (e.g. 80lb pull) can put an arrow through a bullet resistant vest.

Oh, I think that's also true. She does have a quite attractive physique, but as you point out- chances are excellent that the bolt ons were a step backward for her. Doesn't mean she's ugly, just that in going for size she gave up something that probably looked better.
