Bob Rucho is the biggest prick in the NC legislature, which is saying a lot. Irony tag is missing since he is also a fascist piece of sh*t.

High unemployment outside Charlotte or RTP, mostly due to the continuing implosion of the textiles and furniture industry, coupled with the Housing Crisis from 2007-2009, resulting in the Tea Party takeover from low voter turnout in 2010 that led to gerrymandering. Mix in Democratic corruption and a governor who didn't bother to choose a successor before deciding not to run again for office, and a well-heeled 'moderate' popular Charlotte mayor, and now you've got a rubber stamp government.

It's worse than the systematic killing of tens of millions of people?

Not only is this man unfit to hold office if he says something like that, he should be locked into a room with holocaust survivors and their families and have the shiat ritually beaten out of him every 12 hours for the rest of his life. His comment was disgusting.

Well, let's see. The Holomdor and Holocaust together are responsible for what, ~20 million deaths? The ACA's got a lot of catching up to do.

Guys, guys! It was just a misunderstanding!

FTFA: Justice Robert's pen & Obamacare has done more damage to the USA then the swords of the Nazis,Soviets & terrorists combined

Clearly, he was only trying to comment on the vastly increased lethality of mechanized warfare as opposed to traditionally fielded Napoleonic armies. Also, as a GOP state senator, he is required by party bylaws to include the word "Obamacare" in every tweet.

2013-12-16 11:29:38 AM
So now we are back to Obamacare 'provid[es] affordable health insurance to Americans' again?

Last week it was 'you can pay more'.

And the week before that it was 'everyone knew they were going to lose their plan.'

where's that $2500, subby?

He's still saying it's worse than the soldier beheadings that happened during the Iraq war, since that's done with swords.

You mean the $2500 that health insurance in a counterfactual world where ObamaCare had never been implemented would cost more than in a world with its full implementation?

I think Jon Stewart could do a pretty fabulous job montaging the ridiculous GOP comments comparing ACA to Nazism, to show the "But it was just one guy from the GOP!" crowd that it was in fact not just one imbecile.

I'm sure when concentration camp prisoners were filing through Dr. Mengele's torturous experiments, they were no doubt relieved to know that at least they weren't forced to buy coverage for their medical care.

Because that would be horrible.

No.
Note that he gave an order of damage: first the Chief Justice of the United State's pen & PPACA (maybe they are a collective singular in his mind), then various swords. Swords are more deadly than the CJotUS pen-law.

I'll say it again: Let the South go.

Yes, yes, I realize that there are loads of great, rational people in the South and lots of irrational loons in the North (I live in the state Michele Bachmann represents, ffs) but the highest concentration is down there. Just imagine the actual, rational government that could take place without the mouth-breathing retards having that huge block allowing them to put the brakes on every single sensible effort imaginable while also trying their damndest to foist theocratic, anti-science nonsense on the country. Let them go. They can have their evangelical Iran and we can have grown-up government for the first time in decades.

Justice Robert's pen & Obamacare has done more damage to the USA then the swords of the Nazis,Soviets & terrorists combined.

If you read his statement correctly, he may be right.

First, he mentions the "Swords" of Nazis, Soviets and terrorists. Swords, people...

Second, he also limits the scope of damage to the USA, not the rest of the world.

So you have to ask yourself if more people have been harmed by Obamacare than were harmed by the swords of Nazis, Soviets and terrorists(And only swords), in the USA... Maybe he's right, I bet they aren't 5 people who have died from one of these swords in the US in all of its history.
