Fantastic!!!  That's one less idiot on the road (at least for a couple of days/weeks).

2013-12-16 12:32:30 PM
I realize some days that FARK is doing very little to cure my misanthropy.

2013-12-16 12:32:44 PM
That the kid felt he needed to pay tribute to Paul Walker is failure enough.

Was gonna guess clapped out Civic. Looks like Ford Focus. Same diff.

20 minutes longer than my total viewing of Paul Walker films

2013-12-16 12:36:34 PM
Mr Walker, best known as Brian O'Conner in The Fast and the Furious film series, was killed along with former professional racing driver Roger Rodas when the Porsche sports car they were travelling in hit a lamppost and burst into flames.
Mr Walker's ashes were buried on Sunday
in a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills.

Hell of a fire after that crash.

2013-12-16 12:37:26 PM
Is there a more fitting tribute besides crashing said car into a tree?

2013-12-16 12:37:54 PM
That's one way to find out movie technology and physics isn't real, I guess.

2013-12-16 12:38:20 PM
Thank goodness! I was getting lonely without my trusty Paul Walker thread at my side.

Hey Dumbass.  You know that radiator thing at the front of the engine compartment?  Right, that thing.  Yeah, it's there for a reason.

Valiente: I realize some days that FARK is doing very little to cure my misanthropy.

Between Fark and Reddit, I have 0 faith left in the human race as a whole. Millions of individuals can be brilliant. Throw in one idiot and the other 999,999 lower themselves to that idiot. Lower Common Dedumbinator

2013-12-16 12:41:48 PM
And I thought the Walker threads would have died over the weekend but I'm cold and lonely without a daily greenlight of anything related.

2013-12-16 12:44:49 PM
I can't believe this happened in a different country.

2013-12-16 12:45:33 PM
I'd gald the guy died. The rest of the cast should follow in his footsteps for contributing to that culture the movies glorify.

FTFA: Mr Walker's ashes were buried on Sunday

Seems like a lot of work for ashes. Surely you could just sprinkle them around a bit, hit them with a garden hose, and they'll bury themselves?

I have a neighbor that would, until I complained about it, just sit in his driveway for a half of an hour to an hour just revving his engine.   At 10:00 at night.

Never understood...

I once saw a low-rider Ford Escort.

It's probably best that someone with such poor decision-making skills be without personal transportation for a while.

2013-12-16 12:49:42 PM
Did he also sit there with the clutch pushed in and shift 8 million times over the course of 20 minutes?

"A 19-year-old male has been charged with reckless conduct in respect of the incident and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."

Does that mean they are going to bill him for the emergency response?

My landlord does this with pretty much anything that has an engine. There is some piece of equipment idling on the property at least 18 hours a day it seems.

One of my neighbor's warms up his motorcycle for a half hour easy to keep it running right if it's been stored for an extended time. Once it gets on my nerves, he happens to stop, so that works out, though.

It could be like me turning on an ancient computer (by today's standards) so it will continue to work.

With any luck, daddy will replace his cindered car with a Vespa and we'll not hear of this farkstick again.

Their cousin had his motorcycle outside my apartment windown last night. Also around ten o'clock. Had the engine revved for 26 minutes straight.

What *is* this whole Paul-Walker-thing? I mean, I wake up one weekend and it's all over the news: some guy that I've never, ever heard of and, from what I gather, has played in one/a few? bad movie(s) got dead in a car accident. Well hurrah - if we gave that amount of news coverage to every John, Jack and Harry who did themselves in in their automobile, there'd be no end of it! Seriously, who gives a flying fark about some one-hit wonder pretty boy like that?!

He's the James Dean of that generation?  Or the sheer irony of the guy who's entire career was movies about street racing and souped-up cars, dying in Porsche.
