I thought a Glasgow Kiss would be similar to a Peruvian Otter Squat. Huh, the more you know...

Subby: should used malkie in the headline.  Or, if this had been the year 2345, worked in the phrase "Set phaser to malkie".

How about they give up on that joke of a soccer league they have and just let Celtic into the BPL already?

Well in their defense they're asking you to give up booze for January, but it still doesn't make any sense.  "Where's Jim?" 'Yeah I dunno haven't seen him in a couple weeks.'

vs "I'm wearing this funny hat for my cause" 'Oh right then!  Here's some money'

They have to wait another 2 years for Rangers to get back up the the SPL, then they'll both go.

The Glasgow kiss (which originated in the rough lower class industrial slum called the Gorbals) was first recorded in the 1830s. At that time, this area of Glasgow had a murder rate of over 30 per 100,000, rivaling the worst murder rates of today. This put it in the same class as Lesotho, Trinidad annd Tobago, or South Africa today, and is much higher than the murder rate among young black American men or the rate in Moscow.

In fact, the murder rate in Glasgow before Queen Victoria ascended the throne was even higher than contemporary Chicago (29 per 100,000).

In a Red Dwarf episode, it is revealed that Kochanski was brought up in the Gorbals, which by the 23rd century was gentrified as a posh neighbourhood. This process is currently underway with major demolition of the remaining run down tower blocks.

They have to wait another 2 years for Rangers Sevco to get back up to the SPL, then they'll both go.
