jaytkay: With Thomas Kinkade and the Blue Dog guy gone, I don't see how the fine art world can endure.
TV's Vinnie: I used to paint like that. Then I went to the first grade when I reached the age of six.
Six_By_Nine: With Peter O'Toole, and Ray Price (apparently, he's still alive, but it doesn't seem like for long), that's three.
NicoFinn: George was a cool guy. He always intimidated me because he looked grumpy, but he was really a nice man. I remember going to Carmel and seeing him. He was picking out Blue Dog purses to sell in his gallery. It was so funny to have this huge surly looking dude asking me which purse I think people would like more.To those of you who dislike the Blue Dog and think that's all there is to him, I encourage you to check out his older work that featured the Cajuns. It's really good stuff. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and to André, wherever you are. I should have been a lot nicer to you. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Born to Die: /I lump Rodrigue with William Wegman and Stephen Huneck. I'm a fan of all three dog-dudes.
