I knew someone who thought they would make millions selling an app that allowed you to take pictures of your aura (it drew fuzzy lines around faces), diagnose problems with your chi, and refer you to local herbalists who could help you clear your chakras.  His theory was that a) people would fall for that crap, and b) there are herbalists who would pay for the referrals.  Thankfully, it all fell through when he found out that you need more than just a passing acquaintance with VB and a copy of "Writing Apps for Dummies" to produce even stupid shiat like that.  On a positive note, he now has a custom-composed and semi-professionally recorded/produced sitar loop that he paid $300 to a local musician to create.

I would just like to get rid of apps like `flashlight` that need to be able to make accounts, alter SD contents, have full internet access, read phone state and identity etc etc etc

My current flashlight has one permission.

operate flashlight.

All the really useful  apps are probably illegal. Whatever happened to "WeedFinder" or "WhoreHunter?"

I use an app called RunPee that suggests the best times during a film to use the restroom and provides a synopsis of what is happening while you are out. Also tells you the first couple minutes of the movie incase you are late. This is a good pee-related app. The one in TFA is dumb.
