bagumpity: I knew someone who thought they would make millions selling an app that allowed you to take pictures of your aura (it drew fuzzy lines around faces), diagnose problems with your chi, and refer you to local herbalists who could help you clear your chakras. His theory was that a) people would fall for that crap, and b) there are herbalists who would pay for the referrals. Thankfully, it all fell through when he found out that you need more than just a passing acquaintance with VB and a copy of "Writing Apps for Dummies" to produce even stupid shiat like that. On a positive note, he now has a custom-composed and semi-professionally recorded/produced sitar loop that he paid $300 to a local musician to create.
