Cerebral Knievel: sammyk: Cerebral Knievel: Where I work, we've had a few vets passing through as interns after they completed various brewing courses, We hired a vet a couple of months ago, because he wanted, and could do, the job. not because he was a vet.

I didn't want to make any allegations of marketing stradigims. it could very well be a group of vets who know each other because of simular life experiences and interests.

but, this is the beer industry, and it's ALWAYS been about marketing. Especially since every ass hole and their brother is starting up a craft brewery again.

St. Nicks Holiday Ale bottled just in time for Christmas
Wurzburg Weizenbier in the fermenter

/asshole craft brewer

ohdoublereally: /save me your 22oz bottles for my next batch of brew...

Legend Brewing Chocolate porter, and burbon barrel conditioned Golden ale and porter and we just sent off almost 90,000 bottles of our Brown ale and pale ale to the craft beer club of america beer of the month club.

just in time for christmas!

/another asshole craft brewer, well, more of a prick really.

Awesome!

I'm just getting started. Doing 5gal batches, but I'm hooked. This hobby is going to get out of control just like all my other hobbies. The home brew community is incredible. Every one I have met so far has gone out of their way to help the newcomer. It's like we all have the same goal of making every batch a good batch.

Happy brewing!

gweilo8888: Quaker: I would be impressed if they just hired the veterans without also trying to cash in on it by calling the company Veteran Beer and making it their marketing strategy.

This. You get the distinct impression they're hiring them for the marketing value more than anything else.

So they do a good thing, and try to make that a selling point. Those bastards.

I guess Kid Rock hiring displaced autoworkers to make his beer is bad as well?
