(Loudwire)   91-year-old Christopher Lee has released ANOTHER heavy metal album. "I sing another version (of Jingle Bells), it's a bit more naughty. It's not bad, I mean bad in the sense of unpleasant. It's entertaining, it's certainly different"   (loudwire.com) divider line 47

When 91 years you reach, look as good you will not.

I'll see your Alice Cooper and raise you Dio singing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.

And if you don't mind the voclas, King Diamond's No Presents For Christmasrocks.

That's the wife's favourite, however my fav is the Silent Night version off that same (We Wish You a Heavy Metal Christmas and a Headbanging New Year) album
http://www.youtube.com/w atch?v=YBLzHGVL9lg

That album, and the Reverend Horton Heat's "We Three Kings" have heavy rotation in my house/car during the holidays.

In five billion years, when the sun becomes a red giant, Christopher Lee and Abe Vigoda will look at each other, shrug their shoulders and say in tandem: "Well..... it couldn't last forever."

oh, and to stay more on topic, I attempted to buy Lee's first christmas album a few weeks ago, and could only find it on amazon.com, which refused to sell it to me in Canada... didn't check iTunes, as I refuse to use their ecosystem... even tried to find a copy to "acquire" elsewhere, and totally struck out :(

The Bloody Stools - Santa Is Dead is a freak'n classic but not on You Tube at the moment.

A hint to help you in your Internet travels: ".com" by itself, not combined with any country code, is for U.S. websites only, hence Amazon.com only sells to the U.S. You should have gone to Amazon.ca.

I'm sorry, nobody "triumphed" in any of those movies.

Do you know someone who uses iTunes?  Give them the money, have them download it and burn it to a CD for you.

I would imagine the only thing worse than getting half-decapitated in a German uniform would be to die seeing the ghoulish grin of the 20-something Christopher Lee, Commando.

It's unlikely anyone will ever have a career that goes from "Special Ops teenaged commando" to "the man who did more bad...and good...films than Michael Caine and who is actually in Charlemagne's downline".

My favourite C. Lee line is about the decline of Christianity: "He's dead. Can't complain, had His chance and, in modern parlance, blew it."

According to the extras on the LOTR box set I've got it was a knife to the back.  He explained how it would really sound like and how the victim would respond when they were discussing the scene where his character... gets knifed in the back.

There's just a sigh and they slump down, like the strings have been cut.

And yet I own a .com and a .org address, I'm not American in the slightest.  Amazon.com also ship a lot of things internationally.

2013-12-14 04:00:41 PM
Fair enough. One gets, however, the sense that Christopher Lee not only knows a variety of ways to dispatch a man, but has had plenty of field-testing. I didn't see the extras, I had it told to me by a cinematographer friend that the "set went very quiet when Christopher Lee schooled Peter Jackson on how stabbing works".
