The Crepes of Wrath: Can't be any worse than CBS's treatment of  Under the Dome -- can it?

you mean you didn't enjoy the plot line where a woman shows up to make Hank her biatch, because she just happened to be there when the dome came down atho it took 9 episodes for her to show up, and then overnight she had an underground food\fight club going?

and then got shot in the face, completely ditching the waste of airtime?

personally, I enjoyed the radio station being reduced to smoking rubble in 4 minutes flat.

/will keep watching as long as the chick playing Julia Shumway is on cast.

I was looking forward to a one-and-done season of Under The Dome storytelling, not a fan of tv series that exist not to tell a cohesive story but to employ the creators for the greatest number of seasons they can stretch out.

I dunno why, but the one chick with the lesbian moms has such a gigantic forehead that I can't think of anything else but that farking huge forehead everytime I see her on screen.

I really wouldn't mind a show based on Cell, but you'd get too many people comparing it to The Walking Dead.  Still, it would be a pretty good story, as the Cell zombies aren't your typical zombies and the evolution of them over a season or so would be interesting to watch.

Of course you'd also probably get a cinder block and baby shoe scene...

Apparently, I'm not as big a king fan as I thought.  I've never heard of this series.

I read that as food fight club (would have made as much sense as what that abortion they put in the series).

Give it to Darabont.  He seems to be able to write an ending for King's stuff that actually works.

The only reason I even stayed through the whole ordeal is because I thought it was, as it was advertised, a mini series that would have a conclusion.
I do not have the wish to fill hours with watching a show that is only going to create more holes in a story line to perpetuate airtime...   not to mention the writing and characters are weak, extremely weak...   as are some of the actors. The woman trying to be sherif loses her gun when someone sneezes at her, let alone goes for it..   the only solace to watching was that it would have an end, and then it didn't...  so F*** YOU! I shall not watch anymore...

I always wanted to know more about who and what  THE SHOP is and/or was.  They were the guys that gave the girl in Firestarter her powers and she burned up their base of operations, The Farm.  After the weird events in Tommyknockers started THE SHOP invaded the town confiscating all the weird stuff and killing the town inhabitants. They had something to do with the Capt. Tripps virus and stifling news reports.  They knew about THE BEAM, had dealings with the different organizations/corporations that were trying to destroy the rose, and best of all Randall Flag was somehow involved with that organization!

You could make a short X-Files type series about the various people who worked for THE SHOP over the years and how they started and/or investigated certain Stephen King story events.  Like, they go to Salem's Lot a few years after the town was set ablaze to investigate.  There was some weird haunted house in Salem that was somehow a portal or thinee to another world that attracted evil beings.

Or a small group of Shop investigators are sent to Derry, Maine to investigate reports of a clown living in the sewers!

Just make it a Haven spin-off.  Seems like as good a place as any to start.  I can't imagine Haven has more than a season or two left in it, anyway.

Okay, I'll write the ending to Buick 8, here goes.

After the Buick tries to suck Ned and Sandy into the alternate dimension things are quiet for a while at the old state trooper barracks.  Years pass, and a few new recruits decide to see the car for themselves.   As they open the door to the shed where its kept, they are attacked by a strange, tentacled beast.  Just as its about to kill one of them, 3 gunshots ring out.  The monster dies and the rookies turn towards their savior.  Out of the shadows steps the Gunslinger.  He holsters his weapon, looks at the Buick and says: "So that's where I left it."

THE END

I can't even hate watch the show anymore it's THAT BAD.  When the dome turned WHITE at the end of the season after the pink stars did their thing, I was officially DONE.  See also: Angie trusting Junior after he held her captive for half the season.

The writers just don't know what to do with Junior.  On the one hand, they obviously WANT him to be some sort of hero, because good looking young cop-boy.  On the other, the Junior we know from the novel is batshiat insane.  So we get some sort of schizo Junior that seems good one minute and crazy as Manson's nuts the next.

That reminds me. The end of Buick 8 should have simply been that the car is transformed into a giant glowing hand-"The Hand of God"-which detonates a bomb, killing everybody.

It didn't. It just continued to meander on for a few dozen pages of, "What was the car really? Where did it come from? Fark if I know." And they all lived happily ever after. Or not. Whatever.

I got a new TV prior the final episode of Under the Dome and it was set to that super high refresh so everything looked like a soap opera. It made that wretched show 10 times worse. I do love talking about how horrible Under the Dome suddenly became after a good first ep.

Julia and Angie are hot as fuk too

Me too. It's so staggeringly inept in almost every way that it's fascinating to watch in ways the show creators surely didn't intend.

Stephen King is writing the season two opening episode, which might be interesting cause his book ended waaay before whatever is going on UNDER THE DOME currently. I'm hoping he throws in a bunch of absolutely wacko new plot points just to see what the writers do with them next.

Sadly yes. It's funny, but I always forget just how built blondie is each time I watch. They really need to throw her into a Miami beach tiny swimsuit based trouble. I was amazed that they managed to write something interesting for this season, so far so good.

I don't really get why people hated the end of Under the Dome.It made sense. Asshole teenage aliens decide to play God with the Humans much like human kids will torment insects and decode to stop once the humans find the alien device and communicator and cry to them to stop. I'm pretty sure you'd stop frying ants if they suddenly became lifesized and started to plead and cry for you to stop.
