These helicopter moms are getting cray-cray indulgent.

It's one thing to breast feed a boy until he is twelve, but carrying a child until it's forty isn't nurturing. It's just a bad prequel to Failure to Launch.

This actually isn't an unusual phenomenon. Most pregnancies fail (upwards of 70%, often before detection), and calcification is a chief way the body defends itself from foreign bodies. While she's no doubt disturbed, she's also fortunate that her body did what it was designed to do so that she didn't fall into sepsis.

/Now back to your regularly scheduled joke thread!     :-P

That's worst than the time late last year when I found an unopened container of Ecto Cooler in my poop.  I don't know how it got there, I hadn't had any of that stuff since the 80's.

There are cases where I actually wish we spelled like Brits. For example, thiomersal. Which in chemical speak implicates a sulfur bonded mercury group. 'Mericans say thimerosal, like we barely slurred it out after a little bit too much Kentucky bourbon.

/Also I like saying "aluminium"
//Keep the sulphur though.

Sounds like it implanted outside the womb too, so she's extra lucky she didn't have some serious medical complications. Especially since she was 40 something at the time.

It's funny, I've often wondered if this happens with ectopic pregnancies (since your body does encapsulation with other problems like TB and appendix ruptures, though that's rare.)

 Now I know.
