Carbonated coffee? That sounds disgusting.

Has anyone tried carbonating vodak with a soda stream?

I've never had carbonated coffee, has anyone tried it? What's it like?

(I imagine bitter + salty would be kinda weird. Sugary + salty works well together)

Google Manhattan espresso soda.

Its been around for decades. You may be able to pick it up near you even though its primarily a NY thing.

Manhattan Special is what it's called.  Made in Brooklyn.  My dad grew up right near the factory and introduced it to me, which is probably the only reason I'm aware of it.  I like it, and always buy some when I find it.

handcrafted=Newest in the line of buzzwords. To me, if it's really handcrafted why would you need to advertise it? And who the hell is gonna believe that a chain like Starbucks is gonna have "handcrafted" sodas anyway>

Starbucks isn't merely offering canned or bottled fizzy stuff; it's latching on to the popularity of soda streams by carbonating drinks, on the spot, behind the counter.

Everything old, is new again.

Another vote for Manhattan Special.

When I'm at work (bartender) I pour some home made espresso over ice, add simple syrup and top it off with soda water from the gun. Delicious.

Grey Goose had some promoted tweet going around about "handcrafted" cocktails. Unless you get one of those crappy "Club" drinks in a can (and they are really malt beverages right?), damn near all cocktails are handcrafted. I guess you could argue that a mojito is a little more handcrafted than a martini or something, but still..
