Stantz: the strange mouths are going to eat me
ZeroCorpse: I fell into the Uncanny Valley and almost didn't climb out again.Seriously, though, the problem with this mashup idea is that the BBC Sherlock from Sherlock exists in a world where the Sherlock Holmes stories were never written, where Sherlock Holmes of the past never existed as a fictional character. Doyle never wrote Holmes books. Maybe Doyle never even existed in Sherlock's universe. Either way, it's clear there's complete and total genre blindness in Sherlock.Meanwhile, Sherlock Holmes (the original one) and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle have been referred to on Doctor Who, which means that the Sherlock from Sherlock can't exist in that universe.
melewen: It would have been perfect if Watson had pulled out an electronic thumb and hitched a ride with them./He was Dent, all along!
Therion: Dear BBC: Here's my wallet. Take whatever you'd like.
xanadian: Doctor Who and Sherlock. That video was so British I almost shiat the Queen!
