I know it's not the proper thread to ask about and nobody cares about my fantasy team, but it's highly unlikely that there will be a lineup advice thread tonight & I want some opinions.

Somehow stumbled into the playoffs with a team where my best RB is MJD (yeah).  He's currently on the bench while I wait to see what his status will be for Sunday and I think I have RB1 solved this week with Ogbannaya vs CHI.  BUT...at RB2 my options are MJD, Gerhart (also questionable), Todman (also also questionable), and Montee Ball.  Worth throwing Ball into that slot, or should I wait & see which (if any) of those guys are going to suit up this weekend?  Standard scoring, no PPR.

Oh boy. You're f*cked. I'd probably go with Montee Ball and pray for MJD or hope Peterson can't practice tomorrow.

Eh...I had no business even getting into the post season with this team, so I'm treating the additional game(s) as a bonus anyhow.

KICK ASS!

I went to check your weather to see if you'll be freezing your ass off tonight, but all I found was that it is currently warmer in Denver than it is in Dallas. But it will be colder tonight (obviously). So don't forget your hat & gloves! Have fun!

It's 70 degrees in the mancave.  Just remember that in the 3rd quarter when you can't feel your nose.

Tonight, since my son has decided (purely from that stupid NFL Rush Zone show) that he likes the Chargers, I'm going to attempt to get him towatch part of the game with us. The husband is a Broncos fan, so this should be interesting.

The biggest obstacle between Manning and the touchdown record is Denver clinching homefield advantage before the end of the season.

Im having tinkering issues too.  1st 2 picks were Doug Martin and David Wilson and I scrapped into the playoffs with waiver wire pick-ups and a 7-6 record.   I'm thinking of rolling both RB  2 Moreno and FLEX Montee Ball over Riley Cooper, Boykins and Hopkins.

You know either Moreno or Ball will go off or if they get up big they both might.  Its a division game against a former coach so you know its going to be close.

How many yards does Peyton need to steal Drew Brees' record?

Wow, and hour early for the greenlight!

I normally watch the Thursday games for the lulz, but since these are two of the better teams in the league, I think this might be a good game.  Unless Rivers goes all Eli.  Hoping the bolts win, but knows it will be ponies.

He's 5 away from tying Brady and do we remember what he did the last time he and the Broncos played on a Thursday night? He'll get the record.

LucklessWonder: How many yards does Peyton need to steal Drew Brees' record?

He needs to average around 320 a game for the next 3 games. He also can break the TD record with 2 per game average.

I believe he's going to Ron Jeremy both records.

Thats a tough call.  Do you hide the knives or do you leave a multitude of improvise-able wrassling weapons like folding chairs and brief cases scattered around and you know... see what happens.

My tinkering issue is Rivers tonight or wait til monday and go stafford. Stafford is the one I've rolled with most of the season but lately the turnovers have sucked. Rivers protects the ball better but starting him at Denver?

Tough game to pick against the spread.

Everything is showing Denver will win, but 10.5 points in a divisional game is a lot of points.

Rivers isn't bad in the cold weather, and he usually gets better as the year progresses. I can see a backdoor cover with Rivers getting a garbage time TD, 34-27 final.

Took bolts in a pool, but not making a proper pick.

And *anyone* who thinks he is going to sit out any of the remaining games is on some high-quality drugs. Regardless of whether or not the Broncos have clinched a playoff spot, he's playing all 60 minutes of all 16 regular-season games, simply because of that record, and the TD record (and the usual results of sitting out the last game of the regular season. Just ask Aaron Rodgers how well *that* worked out for him last season).

In that league, Trent Richardson, A.J. Green, Maurice Jones-Drew, Reggie Wayne, Danny Amendola, and Ahmad Bradshaw were my first 6 picks (in order).  I've gotten this far through a combination of waiver wire pickups, playing matchups, and a ton of luck.  And given that this is easily my most active league, the waiver wire pickings have been very slim each week.

Agreed. He's out to break records. He didn't go through all of the surgery and stem cell treatment and vampirization or whatever it was that he did just to sit on the bench.

5% chance that if the Broncos seal #1 he sits Week 17 just to bask in talking head drool about turning down going for the records for the good of the team, lol.

Dear Princess SunButt

Night games are not your strong... but have you seen that weirdo Phillip Rivers? He's so creepy! I bet he's in cahoots with Discord. You better help us defeat him using the Elements of Football, unless you'd rather have me ask your niece HeartButt instead...

Anyways, I better get the GOOD Denver Broncos, with a good DEFENSE, and a good OFFENSE, and no more fumbling, interceptions and other shenanigans like that, ok? Also, keep them safe. I'd not like to see any of our players being sent to the glue factory.

We cool?

K, thanks bye.

So, about the "Most passing touchdowns in a season" record.

Anyone else think this one is a bit meaningless? Consider these:
1) The NFL is a passing league, and the rules are adjusted/enforced as thus.
2) 1000+ yd/season WR's are as common as genital warts.
3) The record has been broken how many times in the past 10 years? Like 3 or 4 times?

I am not disparaging the effort or the achievement by the *team* (even though one player gets the attention because of it), I just think it's a bit 'meh, whatever' at this point.
