Well, that wasn't very good, they just didn't blend at all.

Whomever greened this needs back slapped like the biatch they are, and whomever made this needs a blindfold and a cigarette before it gets stood up to a wall and receives a modicum of justice for this outrage.

To make up for it, here's an old Beatles/Stevie Wonder mashup: http://twentytwowords.com/2011/02/16/the-beatles-vocals-over-stevie-w o nders-instrumentation/

What's so terrible with it? I think the original Gaye version is great and I think this is really good too. It's a nice blend and musically coherent.

There was a blend of Beatles "Come Together" and Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" that actually wasn't bad. Sacrilegious and I'd only ever admit to liking it in public while drunk, but it wasn't absolutely horrible.

As Marvin Gaye mashups go, I think I prefer the one with Slayer.

There has never been a good mashup. They're all annoying and terrible and making them requires all the creative talent of a bored Midwestern housewife scrapbooking on a frigid Winter day. Anyone who claims to enjoy mashups sounds like someone bullsh*ting themselves, including you, subby. Mashups are horrible folk art disguised as youthful hipness. Their uprising must be put down with extreme prejudice.

Your damn right the onion on my belt needs some adjustin'.

If you're into mashups the new Santastic is pretty good.

One thing that really sucks about mashups is that every now and then they come up with a great combination, and then flub the execution midway through.

http://www.lenlow.com/

There's a mashup here of Stevie Wonder's Superstition with Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box, and it's awesome for all of 30 seconds until he decides what's missing is Jennifer Lopez singing about how she manages to stay real while the amounts roll in. Bleargh.

/ House of Pain vs. Klezmer for the lulz

Some others...

Beatles vs. Joan Jett vs. Cypress Hill vs. House of Pain (disregard the first few seconds of nonsense)

(something about Sublime and Ringo Starr, I guess)

Korn vs. Cure (better than you'd think)
