This thread is like the wall of a stall in a boy's bathroom in a middle school.

Great. More blank text explaining in intricate detail how they want to help the public whenever someone wants to know something.

Why not tell us why you completely ignored the top 8 (of 10?) requests pertaining to 'marijuana,' hemp, or cannabis law reform from wethepeople.gov v2008?

Sock Ruh Tease: PMSometer. The American people tend to forget that Obama's immediate family consists entirely of three women. A calendar needs to be drawn up that shows the predicted periods of Michelle, Sasha, and Malia Obama for American people, especially the media, to carefully analyze, discuss around round tables, and draw connections between it and Obama's behavior. e.g. "All three girls are going to be on the rag soon - will Pyongyang be wiped off the map?"

I would watch that for shiats and giggles.

Seriously, why didn't someone made this already?

Things that still need to be open and accessible to all:

Meal plans. Obama needs to tell everyone what he is going to eat. He should take a picture of each breakfast, lunch, and dinner he eats and post it on Instagram. e.g.  "Arugula... again. I know. I just like it too much."

Additional tweets. The American people are the employers of the Obama administration, and like any mediocre mid-level manager prone to micromanagement and alcoholism, the American people demand updates on what Obama is doing every 10 minutes. Fortunately Twitter has offered the perfect mechanism for Obama to do just that. e.g. "Trying to sleep... again. See you in 10 minutes."

CIA operations. Obama immediately needs to make available a calendar which details all planned CIA assassinations until 2016. It should also say whether the target will die by sniper fire, drone strike, magnetic bomb on car, "suspicious accident", or other. It should also indicate partnerships on each mission, e.g. "CIA chillin' with Mossad this Saturday while we drop a titanium dildo on Robert Mugabe's head."

sendtodave: LasersHurt: I can't wait to hear how this doesn't matter from a bunch of cynical dicks on the internet on a Saturday Night.

Isn't that the point of fark.com?

Pretty much. I'm not surprised it will happen.

Zeb Hesselgresser: "Since his first full day in office, President Obama has prioritized making government more open and accountable . . "

Just because you're not aware of the increased openness does not mean it does not exist. Unless you're running the "there are still things - at all - that are not open, therefore..." gambit.

It's nice that they want the people to have more access to the things that they want the people to have access to.

Snowden is still a traitor, right?

Open Government? So it'll also have a cult-like following triumphing how it's better than the other, paid version of Government while running none of the programs which everyone uses on a day to day basis?
