Lord Jubjub: hmmm. . .not a moment of silence, but a moment of applause.

I like those better. A celebratory act rather than a commiserating one.

Bolo78: Langston: Just changed it to a draw.

I've got it as a 1-1 draw.  I think hoping for a Sunderland win is just too much.

I'm really hoping the two of you are wrong...cause its too late for me now :b

Aw, spurs isn't on broadcast NBC? That sucks.

For a tragedy, a moment of silence IMO.  But for a man who accomplished so much and lived to 95 after what he went through?  Absolutely applause.

All EPL matches are having a minute of applause for Mandela this weekend.

Our own bubbaprog pulled up the last time Man City, Man United and Chelsea all lost EPL matches on the same day.

Completely agree

Holy crap.  That was a hell of a bursting run from Altidore there.

2013-12-07 12:39:11 PM
Sunderland's got some real fight in them today

2013-12-07 12:42:25 PM
I have traditionally cheered for Tottenham as a team to break up the big four--especially since they did quite well in their one Champions League season.  OTH, I would like to see Altidore do well and Everton is another team I tend to cheer for (not just because Howard is the keeper).

I'll just be neutral for this game.

2013-12-07 12:47:40 PM
Dammit Fletcher, you were supposed to bury that. You might not get another chance like that

2013-12-07 12:49:34 PM
Sunderland wasting their chances

Who's your team when you're not neutral?

2013-12-07 12:57:21 PM
I get the feeling that AVB has worked a lot on the defence since the embarrassment about two weeks ago.

2013-12-07 01:06:13 PM
Altidore has not had a good half.

I don't have just one team.  Other than the big four, the only teams to have played in every Premier League season since 1995 have the Everton, Aston Villa, and Tottenham.  I have been cheering for the Spurs since their Champions League season since neither Everton or Aston Villa have never challenged for the top spots since 2007-8.

Since Sunderland has just scored, I think I'll back off of Tottenham and start cheering Everton.

2013-12-07 01:08:06 PM
Well done, keeper.  Well done.

2013-12-07 01:08:37 PM
SERIOUSLY LLORIS?! I could have caught that, and I'm in Louisville, Kentucky right now.

2013-12-07 01:09:02 PM
Are you farking kidding me.  Spurs on top the last 15 minutes and Lloris makes a horrible mistake and Sunderland go up hardcore against the run of play.  farking terrible.

2013-12-07 01:09:11 PM
Jesus, Lloris. Catch the ball.

2013-12-07 01:13:53 PM
Thank goodness for Paulinho. Spurs' best buy this year.

2013-12-07 01:14:16 PM
EQUALISED! Paulinho!

2013-12-07 01:14:32 PM
Well, Spurs equalize.  Nice in-ball

Spurs keeping my banker alive! Think I'm on a perfect too.

There you go. I've always thought that it's harder to be invested in a league if you don't have a rooting interest in a team. Or against a team.

Mackem's 5th OG of the season.

Next year we better sign Post or AVB should get the sack.

Post has repeatedly said that he refuses to take a long term deal. He only works week-to-week for the highest bidder.

Come on Defoe, YOU GOTTA BURY THAT!!!

Did you find that out manually? If so - good, dull work!
So FFPL is in the top 10%.
And 1144 people have quite lonely lives!

Hey! Post is upright!

What does Defoe need to do to score? Man oh man, can't get any closer.

2013-12-07 02:13:46 PM
This has been a surprisingly entertaining game. Better than I thought it'd be

Last couple of minutes have been more entertaining then I'd like *chews nails*

5 minutes?  Where'd that come from?!

2013-12-07 02:23:18 PM
Defoe ruins my chances of another perfect banker, but I'll take keeping it in place.

2013-12-07 02:24:28 PM
+10 for the day and a mackem loss. Woot!

2013-12-07 02:24:40 PM
Hey, whoever is still around--I could use a thread for today's MLS final

2013-12-07 02:26:21 PM
I think im ending at +5, Ill take it.

2013-12-07 02:26:21 PM
Defoe, we're giving you a chance to prove you should start, what are you going to do with it?  Hit the post and miss several opportunities to put the game to bed? Not good enough.

I'll take the 3 points and laugh at you who changed your predo to a draw!

2013-12-07 02:26:45 PM
So that's +45 with my banker bonus in tact and up to 20, and my insurance used on City. I'll get a minimum of +15 this week. Meh, I'll take it.

Looking to wrap up MLS fantasy in 5 hours.
