Lord Jubjub: Stoke goes in front.  wow

Chelsea does that a lot. Gives up goals, wakes up, scores more.

2013-12-07 11:12:54 AM
Gerrard off. Hopefully it's not serious.

2013-12-07 11:13:39 AM
Well that didn't last long. SCHURRLE equalizes.

2013-12-07 11:13:54 AM
Mignolet's only weakness has been his distribution.  He's looked much better at it this game.  Wonder if he's had a "eureka" moment or if it's just a good game for him.

Liverpool and West Ham decide to honor the memory of Mandela by only allowing the black players to score.

2013-12-07 11:15:44 AM
It's looking more and more that it's a question of when not if Southampton will score a goal.

2013-12-07 11:18:54 AM
Please don't be serious....please dont be serious....

Goddamnit, Skertl.

2013-12-07 11:23:21 AM
Crazy period of pressure from Liverpool there looking for a third and what might be my only perfect.  How did we not score!

2013-12-07 11:23:21 AM
Hey, look at that, we fail to keep a clean sheet again.

2013-12-07 11:23:30 AM
Sterling Gervinho's again

2013-12-07 11:23:37 AM
Just looking at the expanded table.  Man City, Liverpool and Newcastle all have negative GD when playing away. In fact, those three have given up as many away goals as Fulham, Crystal Palace and Sunderland.

The other top three teams in the top six have positive GD.

Thanks to a 1-0 extra time victory vs. Gateshead in the FA Cup first round on Wednesday, the MIGHTY Oxford United aren't playing today. Instead they play at Wrexham on Monday for the 2nd round FA Cup game.

Thanks to the prior results, the MIGHTY Oxford United remain atop the League Two table by a single point.

2013-12-07 11:29:44 AM
Southampton is pretty beat up right now, yet they're still probing. Kompany is saving City atm

I'm terrified right now.  3 own goals in the game.  Anything could happen.

ADubs86: I have literally no idea who to put my banker on this week.

Dani Osvaldo wears hipster glasses. Put the Warby Parkers down.

I went for a Spurs 1-0 road win. I am likely an idiot.

czetie: StRalphTheLiar: midpoint: midpoint: StRalphTheLiar: Are those American football yardlines on the pitch at OT?

Most likely rugby or for training.

Indeed, rugby league World Cup final last week.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't aware that they marked the field differently from rugby union.

Rugby league is basically rugby for people who don't like rugby.

/Ducks, runs

Yep.

/Played Union in school.

I hope so. Would gladly take a bath on the FA Cup matches to ensure a promotion.

Victor Moses is terrible

2013-12-07 11:42:00 AM
LOL.  Are you serious!?  Suarez restores the differential!

2013-12-07 11:42:29 AM
Suarez almost has a 10 minute hat trick. Thank God we kept him.

2013-12-07 11:42:34 AM
Bayern finished 7-0 over Bremen.

Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen kicking off in a bit. It's 2 v 3 and both are clinging to some hope that they can stay with Munich in the table.

And finally, Kevin-Prince Boateng annoys the shiat out of me. The guy dives at every opportunity.

I hate how slow EspnFC is with score updates. It's still showing 2-1

Guardian text commentary is usually a bit more snarky if you prefer that style.

Remember a few years ago when 'own goal' was Man United's second leading goal scorer?  Looks like he's showed up for the Liverpool-West Ham game.
