StRalphTheLiar: midpoint: midpoint: StRalphTheLiar: Are those American football yardlines on the pitch at OT?

Most likely rugby or for training.

Indeed, rugby league World Cup final last week.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't aware that they marked the field differently from rugby union.

Rugby league is basically rugby for people who don't like rugby.

midpoint: ADubs86: I have literally no idea who to put my banker on this week.

Dani Osvaldo wears hipster glasses. Put the Warby Parkers down.

x3s were unappealing so I went for Liverpool at home.

That's what I did as well

For all you Liverpool fans riding high on the result last week i have a thought for you. Norwich weren't that bad defensively. All but one goal was from outside the penalty area and most of the shots were from outside as well, it was just that Suarez decided to play his best game of the season.

That's Suarez's best game of the season, not against the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City that would be real six pointers but against a side that will be in the bottom half of the table.

Oh look, its Reds washout, Stewart Downing.

2013-12-07 10:05:38 AM
Suarez needs to shoot that.

In transfer news I knew would happen, Di Maria has reportedly agreed to a 35 million euro move to Monaco in January. He's a great player, but much like Ozil, he hates being rotated.

Agreed

Sucks for Real, but if Bale can stay healthy, it won't matter much. He's young enough to take on the extra games. Rumor mill says Real may be in for Coutinho as cover.

Palace 1-0!

West Ham...desperate to get Andy Carroll in the lineup.  ha ha ha ha.

Should've put my banker on my 2-1 Newcastle victory!

I don't mind him leaving too much. We have Jese coming up really well as a winger. I seriously hope Real doesn't buy anyone. There's a good amount of prospects coming up the ranks. Jese, Morata, Cheryshev, Nacho, Casemiro and probably some others I'm forgetting.

And after watching the Bayern Munich match for 35 min, I'm reminded why I don't watch Bayern Munich matches...

/Werder Bremen 0 - 3 Bayern Munich

Also, Coutinho better reject a move if Real do try. He's much better off in Liverpool.

Hooper!!!!!

Norwich 1 nil up

Norwich, Chelsea and City have all scored already.  I'm watching the Norwich/West Brom game.

Liverpool - West Ham the only game left scoreless.

Great save by Mignolet

It's -40 in Calgary right now. I'm clutching a cup of Baileys and coffee watching Liverpool.

I may have to start burning furniture if I want to live to see Gerrard v Suarez in Brazil.

Man City suddenly can't get the ball out of their half

2013-12-07 10:37:35 AM
So after a late night of drinking with an old friend, I wake up to see that Man United lost to Newcastle. At home. I've been unwilling to say that United's title challenge is over, but I'm calling it today: United's title challenge is over this season.

Lord Jubjub: Man City suddenly can't get the ball out of their half

Southampton are no fluke. They're really impressive, and while I don't think they'll win today's game, they're certainly capable. God they look so dangerous on the ball.

Sterling, you should've had that!

Ouch, Keeper OGs always hurt. Feel bad for Demel there.

Well, that's got to be goal of the day right there.

OSVALDO with a brilliant equalizer for Southampton. That was beautiful

Own goal in favor of Liverpool. We deserve the lead, but West Ham is unlucky for it to happen like that.

Impressive individual effort by Osvaldo against Man City.

You want to rethink that prediction?

Within SECONDS of having scored, NBC Sports puts up a screen bug declaring it a Goal of the Week nominee.

I'd be happy to be wrong. Southampton still looks like the more dangerous team at the moment and I'd love to see them pull points. Let's see how City responds after the half.

Turns out, it's all Demel, Jussi didn't get a second touch on it.

Speaking of "should've had that"

That Southampton equalizer was something else. Great skill.

Autocorrect actually did that. Never even noticed it.

It's all going wrong for West Ham. Another OG.
