Flogster: FTFA -  then tells him, "find me," what she often means is: "Do not find me."

And this is why I never understood women.

A woman hands a man a nearly impossible puzzle. She thinks, "this should keep him away." The man thinks, "challenge accepted."

When I worked help desk DNS was a newcomer, HTTP hadn't been invented, and British hostnames were spelled in the correct order (most significant component first, uk.baz.bar.foo). Much internet use was subject to the NSFnet AUP, which said "no porn" in spirit if not in the letter of the law.

So no shock sites yet.

What I said to the hungover horny guys was (more or less) Wellesley doesn't have a directory server you can get to from here.

What I should have said was, dude, she's a Wellesley girl, she isn't that into you. If you want to have a chance, bring your little sister to the next party and hope for leftovers.

Seth'n'Spectrum: I met a girl called Scarlett who went to a school south of London for teens with ADHD when I was 17. Would anyone like to help me find her?

No? Okay.

That depends... does the rag in your pocket smell like chloroform?

TFA writer sounds like a biatch. What's the matter, Amanda? Jealous that no one would go to that length to find you?

ZAZ: When I worked help desk in college one of our frequently asked questions was some guy coming in saying "I met this girl at a party, all I know is her first name and she goes to Wellesley, how do I find her email address?"

I hope you told him that goatse.cx would help him find the e-mail.

If Reese had just been like, "I am looking to hunt down a woman. All I have is her name, general location, and this photograph she never consented to be blasted across the Internet," we would all probably be like, "Dude-leave Katie alone."
