Ishkur: The mini-series and the first season are sublime. Some of the best sci-fi television you'll ever watch.

The second season the show starts losing the plot and doesn't know what to do with itself. The last decent episode is the Pegasus. Many characters are killed off just cuz.

Third season, with its "jump forward in time" motif, should have also included a shark with that, for that is essentially what it did. Half the episodes are utterly unwatchable.

I didn't even watch season 4. That's how bad season 3 was.

When I saw the "One year later" thing flash on the screen I was so hammered I thought for sure it had to be a dream sequence or something.

DrunkenBob: Baltar was a homosexual propagandist, and Boxxy was the polygamous ideal we should all strive for if we wanted salvation.

Monkeyfark Ridiculous: This one is more fun:

What the frak!
That was TERRIBLE. It made me long for the one I just watched in the headline.

Thurston Howell: Morale and unit cohesion doesn't work that way.

Billions of humans dead, a fraction of a percent left. Everyone has PTSD.

Thurston Howell: but all that stuff would be forgotten the next episode

Rewatching the series straight through just now, as I stated before, and no, nothing gets forgotten. Ever.
