mamoru: That must have been cut by a well caffeinated hamster with a hatred for epileptics. Way too much rapid cutting. And as much as I like "Heart of Courage", it's a bit cliche and overused.Meh, says this one. :-//and I am a huge BSG fan
JesusJuice: Battlestar Galactica sucked. Vapid, pseudo-intellectual crap.
BumpInTheNight: JesusJuice: Battlestar Galactica sucked. Vapid, pseudo-intellectual crap.Hey look everyone, its that guy.
edmo: Lorne Greene is unimpressed.
JakeStone: edmo: Lorne Greene is unimpressed. This just in. Lorne Greene is still dead.
PIP_the_TROLL: BumpInTheNight: JesusJuice: Battlestar Galactica sucked. Vapid, pseudo-intellectual crap.Hey look everyone, its that guy.I'm afraid I'm 'that guy' too.I thought it was a mediocre soap opera with a good special effects budget.
Bslim: I have completely revised my opinion of this series. When you come right down to the whole bunch of survivors was probably THE. WORST. humanity had to offer. A better ending would have had the Cylons winning and somehow preserving the children.
thamike: Please find below what I would view as potentially one of the greatest tributes I've ever seen created for Ronald D. Moore's science fiction masterpiece Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009)That isn't science fiction masterpiece Battlestar Galactica.
JohnnyC: I liked that show until it got all religious and preachy.
ZeroCorpse: JohnnyC: I liked that show until it got all religious and preachy. They couldn't have had a worse ending, even if they'd had God's giant finger reach down from the top of the screen and punch in the coordinates for Earth.BSG is one of those shows where you have to stop watching at a specific point and ignore anything after that, because a particular season finale works better as a show finale than the actual show finale did.
PIP_the_TROLL: Bslim: I have completely revised my opinion of this series. When you come right down to the whole bunch of survivors was probably THE. WORST. humanity had to offer. A better ending would have had the Cylons winning and somehow preserving the children. That's what I always hated about the show - Whenever they reached a decision point, they *always* made the worst decision available.BSG is actually what helped me solidify my working formula for figuring out whether something is a drama or a soap opera. The variable is whether the universe is a character or not.In a drama, things happen to the characters that are outside of their control. In a soap opera, events are always instigated by the characters themselves either as cause or effect. In BSG, everything that happened to them they both caused and deserved.
Titanius Anglesmith: This one was betterhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__WVOlnE4aI
xenomorpheus: The "Adama Maneuver"(storming New Caprica) is the ONLY time I have ever jumped out of my seat and screamed at the TV. The raid in "the Hand of God" is a close second(All of the fighters ARE on the board).
Ishkur: The mini-series and the first season are sublime. Some of the best sci-fi television you'll ever watch. The second season the show starts losing the plot and doesn't know what to do with itself. The last decent episode is the Pegasus. Many characters are killed off just cuz.Third season, with its "jump forward in time" motif, should have also included a shark with that, for that is essentially what it did. Half the episodes are utterly unwatchable.I didn't even watch season 4. That's how bad season 3 was.
YodaBlues: Whatever your stance on the ending is, no one can deny that the atmosphere jump from the liberation of new caprica is still badass.
